The breakfast burger was delicious, egg well fried and the root beers are always on point. Nothing has changed over the last 7 years.

Was so nice. I loved it. Able to imagine such a much better simpler time, walked down to the water too, wish there were steam boats running

Very nicely done with lots of information spread out over several houses. And the fact that the museum is set or framed in a downtown that is a step back in time, makes it all the better!

Well developed museum that tells the story of Mark Twain. Clean, neat informative interpretative center that was easy to follow. Good investment in modern displays. Great value.

The town of Hannibal was so enjoyable! Rich in history and story! The city has done a remarkable job with displays and details in Sam's life. The restoration and preservation in this town is beautiful. Plan 2 hours easy to read and listen and walk around. There are steps in some areas. We will return again to this town.

Absolutely a wonder to behold. I haven't been here for a decade or so but I couldn't wait to bring my own kids here to learn about Mark Twain. It was a beautiful day and the tour was leisurely and peaceful. So much to learn and such a fascinating man to learn about. We toured the whole piece from the introduction area through the final museum and it wasn't too pricey and worth every penny.
There is a lot of reading or you can sit through video productions, your choice.
Multiple gift shops through the tour so don't feel you have to hit the first one because there will be more and they hold similar items in each.
The Norma Rockwell exhibit is at the end of the tour so make sure you leave enough time to visit it at on the second floor of the museum. They are beautiful masterpieces.

Hannibal, where the house is located, is a very neat town. Not only can you visit his home, but there are 3 other places to see with so much history centered around him. You will learn so much from your visit. I highly recommend visiting. You should plan on spending 4 to 5 hours .

The museum manages to show very well the atmosphere in which Mark Twain grew up and trained as a man and writer. Very friendly staff, very interesting souvenir shop, atmosphere close to the reality of those times. And if the museum impressed me a lot, I can say that the town of Hannibal did it even more. I felt like I was in a Hollywood movie setting: beautiful and quiet houses, small but very attractive shops, the impressive and chic waterfront of the Mississippi River.

Loved every minute of this tour and this town. I can’t wait to go back again in the springtime. The town is wonderful place to walk around with all ages. My 2 boys loved the tour and town. The museums are so well down taking you on a walking tour of each of the books. The tour is interactive for all ages.

I had an incredible time visiting the Mark Twain Boyhood House and other related sites, which can be seen with your admission ticket. The employees and the local folks were great to tell me other places to visit while I was in Downtown Hannibal. I hope to return sometime in the future!

My grandmother's house was adjacent to Mark Twain's home, so I spent a lot of time here. I'm a fan of his writings, so my daughter and I saw everything we could. The ticket covers several venues in Hannibal. The old days were hard times.

Totally worth the price and time. It's a short self guided tour. Pleasant walk and easy to navigate. The exhibits are nicely set up and have great details. You can almost feel what it was like to live in the Twain household. The whole block is set up so you can picture the stories of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. I took a moment to imagine it for the middle of the street, turning slowly to take it all in. Also go to the Hannibal history museum too.

An attractive and well-run complex showcasing an American icon. Don't miss it when in Hannibal.
We saw it with American Queen Voyages, included in your cruise when you visit here.

It was well worth the trip came to Hannibal to see mark twain, his home, museum & what ever else they had. I really enjoyed it all. There was so much to learn. The museum even has some inter action items that you can get involved with, I loved those.
Only issue I want to mention is his boyhood home, has
a very long set of stairs that some people might have
problems with.
Everything else was wonderful & more than worth the
time

This place was amazing! We learned so much. There was sooo much to see! The staff were really friendly and the gift shop had lots of items and was actually reasonably priced!! This was a side adventure while we were visiting our son and we spent 3 hours because we just wanted to see it all! Worth the entry fee for sure!!

We had an amazing time checking out the Mark Twain Boyhood home and other homes that go with the Museum and I hope to bring the rest of my family with next time. I loved the videos and all the time line material. The best part was that it could be counted as a field trip for my children since they're homeschooled.

The tour was very thorough and the cleanliness of the places were just immaculate! The people who work in the different buildings help you along the way during your self guided tour. They are some of the kindest people you could meet! Absolutely worth the trip!!

This museum tour covers several prominent historical landmarks from Mark Twain's childhood and characters from his books, featuring a second story gallery of Norman Rockwell works based on Tom Sawyer and others. There is a fee involved. Veterans and service people may tour free. The exhibits are family friendly with many interactive features for young children. This is a great family outing!
