We stayed at the campground. Our time was limited so we chose Cameron cave. Our tour guide was awesome. Probably the coolest part was flashlights only. If we ever get back we will definitely visit the Mark Twain Cave for historical reasons. Expect to spend at least $80 for a family of four. Yes, I would do it again.

Our first visit to the cave and our tour guide Bobby was fantastic! She had great information about the cave and it's history and knew some pretty good dad jokes. Highly recommended tour. We will definitely be coming back.

The cave was great as always. The renovation to the building was good. Brought 5 children and bought each child a gift in the gift shop. We expressed our concern about the products being sold in the candy and food section that had curse words as the product name. It is very disappointing to see that in a family friendly setting. Multiple schools come here for field trips each year. We hope they take our advice and remove those products. We spent $200 there today. If we see them there when we come back, we will not return.

Loved this campground! Site was level, area was clean and roomy. Staff was friendly and price was reasonable. When we arrived a clear and defined map was given. Easy to understand and follow. The timing of the cave tours worked well with checking out. They even offered parking in main lot if we wanted to tour more before we headed out.

We had a gentleman and fellow brother in arms tour guide I believe his name was Logan you sir are very professional safe and informative with the cave history because of him alone I will be returning through the yeas to come with my family and god will I will bring my grand children and there children to these such beautiful historic place where they can learn there is way more beauty around u than in there phones

We love this camp ground! It is very well maintained!! Lots are easy to back into. They also have pull through spots! For convenience, they have a washer/ dryer and a soda machine. They also have very clean bathrooms and a shower. The staff is very friendly. We've been 5 times and this is one of our favorite places to camp!!

We went through both caves on our visit (Mark Twain and Cameron) and had a great experience both times. Our guide through the Mark Twain cave was Ace. He was great and had a lot of anecdotes about the cave. There were only 3 of us on the Cameron cave tour and our guide on that one was Max. He was also a great guide. He was knowledgeable about the cave and its history and was willing to answer questions. We were given flashlights as this cave is without electricity which added to the adventure. There was one area where we could crawl through a little area (I think Max called it the bear den). He also gave some quick directions and asked if anyone wanted to be the guide through that. It was only maybe 20 feet but was fun. Max was encouraging when I got to a turn and was debating if that was the right path. Overall a great experience and we're already talking about going back and going through them again. The gift shop staff were also great. Their card readers were down but they allowed us to go on the Mark Twain cave tour anyway (it's was getting ready to leave) and just asked us to stop back when we were finished to pay for that.

The Mark Twain and Cameron Caves were amazing! Jackson was our tour guide and he did a great job. Bobbi was our tour guide for the Trolley Tour and she was so wonderful: the passion she put into telling us about Hannibal and the way she remembered us hours later when we took the trolley back into town made us feel really special. These caves and the tours are an absolute MUST if you visit Hannibal. You will not regret it. The Mark Twain cave is family friendly and all lit up while the Cameron cave is much more suited for adults, longer of a tour, and you explore it all via flashlights!

Sites were level, bathrooms were always clean. Staff was helpful. I toured both caves, recommend to not wear flip flops or sandals. The slushes at the winery were awesome. Took the tour of the historical town and then went the next day, walking around. I would definitely stay again. We camped through the week so not crowded at all.

If you came to town to visit the Mark Twain Boyhood Home, take some time to visit the Mark Twain Cave located about 5 minutes outside of town.

Your ticket will get you a guided tour through the cave that inspired the Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Our tour guide, David, did an excellent job of explaining the history of the cave, how it was discovered, and relating scenes in the story to the natural features found in the cave.

The tour lasts an hour, and is well worth the money. Be sure to see the Samuel Clemens signature! The walk is fairly moderate. There are a few tight squeezes and there are handrails to help prevent slippage.

This stop would be perfect if you're interested in local history, literature, and information relating to the scouting movement (take the tour and you'll learn the connection).

We were expecting to only go through the Mark Twain Cave, but were pleasantly surprised that the Cameron Cave was still opened for the month of October. Great experience! Our guide, Peter, was great! He was very knowledgeable of history and all the ins and outs (pun intended 😉) of the cave. Would go again if we're ever in the area.

This campground is super nice!! The staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The sites are level and roomy. We bought the Mark Twain Cave Tour, the Mark Twain Live show, and the Hannibal Tour.
The Mark Twain Cave Tour was fun, but too fast. I felt rushed through the cave. I also felt that our guide put too much emphasis on the signatures in the cave. Thus some people might be encouraged to deface other historic or beautiful natural sites with their names which would be sad. I Love nature and believe in leaving no trace, so other generations will be able to enjoy the beauty. I would like to hear more emphasis on the history and formations that we saw, such as Norman Rockwell's painting, the Doctor, etc.
The Hannibal Tour was truly fun and entertaining!! So much history is in this little town! We went back into town after the tour to walk the downtown area and visit the shops. We will come back to spend more time. The old fashioned soda was absolutely delicious!
The Mark Twain Live was fun.
Mark Twain Cave Campground was a wonderful experience. We will be back!

This is the most beautiful campsite. Plenty of space for our 37ft class a. The spots are gravel if that matters to you for jack pads. The shared bathroom was clean, not full of spiders. The staff was so friendly and even helped us by bringing firewood to our site. Dog friendly and very clean.

This was a wonderful experience. The mark Twain cave tour was great. I also highly recommend the trolley tour. If Bobby’s there, go with her. Very fascinating and relaxing after a hike through the cave. Great gift shop, too. 😊

I was there for a FMCA Gateway Getaways rally. My company Sparkle RV Services attends rallys to offer services.

The campground was excellent. Lots of trees and nature so you still felt like you were camping but close to downtown Hannibal and all the activities there and of course the campground has activities like the cave tour. The pavilion was great for our groups gathering. I would definitely camp there again.

The campground was well kept; great space between sites; beautifully well established breezy trees and a delightfully peaceful atmosphere. The staff was inviting, professional, and caring throughout the entire process. Hannibal is a beautiful historic town. Mark Twain Cave campground is the place to stay when RVing in the area. Thank you for an excellent trip!

My second stay at the RV park. Sites are reasonably wide and there are mature trees. My only caveat is that at least some of the sewer discharge ports are too far from the hose bibb and electrical post so come prepared either with extra stinky slinkys or longer potable water hoses and electric cords. The cave tours are interesting and not too difficult even for our 70+ year old knees. Much to do in the area, especially for fans of Mark Twain.

Campsite (tent for us) was great! Flat, spacious, shaded and close to clean restrooms...I gave service a 4 because I would like to see the staff drive around more often (random hours, not on a schedule), and maybe an overnight staffer available. For 2 nights we were there, people were loudly partying until about 1am, and for those of us in tents, those people may as well have been in the same room with us! Looking forward to camping there again!
