Wonderful experience. Dr. B and her staff are obviously animal lovers and want only what's best for your fur baby. I highly recommend them.

I can't imagine going anywhere else than Hope to take care of my bunny. Pepper has kept all of us busy! But the absolute most amazing thing that got my attention is the fact I called from Chicago with a sick bunny, and Dr. B was at a family event and so was the assistant that came in, but they watched the time and occasionally called to see where I was with my ETA and met me at the hospital at 10:30 pm to take care of Pepper. They were amazing! Not aggravated with the 5 1/2 hour time span or the lateness of the evening. Just concerned about my pet. I sincerely trust them 100% with her care!

I took my gerbil here for a scent gland tumor removal surgery, and they were amazing. They were able to squeeze him in for surgery last minute and treated him with the utmost care before and after the surgery. He was trying to chew at his surgery site afterwards, and they even made him a cute little e-collar to restrain him so that he could heal. It's been about a month since his surgery, and he is back to his old self now.

Very wonderful and thoughtful staff. We chose them because of their knowledge and care of rabbits.

Not all Vets are knowledgeable of the fuzzy critters, they sure are a lot different in care and physiology. If your not sure if your Vet can care for rabbits I'd ask around. A good source is the House Rabbit Society.

If was our first check up with Princess Stefani (our spoiled Lionhead rabbit). I'm not sure who had more anxiety, the rabbit or I. This was my critter, my charge and her well being is my duty.

The staff was sweet and prepared for us. Just a few preliminaries and the Princess was in to see the doc. They had a white board noting this room was for her.

I couldn't bare to go in with her but my wife did. They gave Stefani her physical and she checked out A Ok! She wasn't fussy when she left the exam room and they even gave her a toy to take home with her.

We'll be going back.

P.S. If you do get a rabbit as a pet, please take the class at the House Rabbit Society. These aren't just fuzzy toys you get for a kid at Easter to discard later when they lose interest. Nor is most of the food and treats you would get at most department or pet stores good for them.

Rock on Hope Animal Hospital.

I’ve had animals my whole life, and Dr. B is the best vet I have ever had. My rabbit was so lucky to be in such good hands during the last few months of her life. Dr. B is so knowledgeable and gave me a possible treatment option for my rabbit’s cancer after another vet had told me I had no options. It only extended her life a little bit longer, but she was temporarily happier and healthier and it gave us time to make plans for her. When it came to the time that the treatment stopped working, Dr. B was so gentle in advising that it was getting close to her time. The staff have been so sweet during these rough few months, providing me with tissues for my many tears and even sending me a sweet card in the mail. I also received a letter that a few trees were planted in a forest in need as a tribute to her. I’m so lucky to have found Hope Animal Hospital, for both my rabbit that had passed and for the rest of my animals.

We bring our pet bunny here and they really know how to handle a bunny. Our bunn got vaccinated here, examined, and they trimmed his nails but you have to request the nail trim.

Can't say enough about this clinic. We had two other vets say our baby guinea pig wasn't going to make it. Thank goodness we found Dr. B and her team. We really appreciate her thorough, professional approach. She can explain conditions and results so clearly and keep expectations realistic. Our baby is now a happy, healthy teenager :). As a pocket pet owner, I particularly appreciate that the whole team understands the connection some of us have to the little ones. I never once felt pressured to pay more than I could, and I never felt like my guinea pigs were lower priority compared to a dog or cat. They just "got it," and clearly lay out the assessment and treatment plans, including what's needed and what could be a helpful extra. Fluffernutter, Samoa, Oreo, and my partner and I love this place!

I'm terrible at remembering names, but the young, upbeat male assistant was wonderful with our little 2.5 pound guinea pig! I was amazed at the amount of care and compassion the staff demonstrated with our little guy. The doctor was very thorough in her examination, and check our little guy from head to toe! The office waiting room, and examination room were very clean, and free of any pet odors. This was our first visit at Hope Animal Hospital, and I highly recommend! The prices were very fair too!

I used to think this animal hospital is the best one for pet rabbit in Missouri, but today I change my mind , it is the best one in the UNITED STATES. My rabbit had a dental surgery here, very good job. Then, I moved to Houston, TX. 3 month later the bunny was sick and I brought the bunny to a local animal hospital. The doctor there was very unprofessional in examination and expansive. I really miss the service my rabbit has enjoyed in Hope Animal Hospital.

I have been taking my pets to Hope for years. The staff has gone out of their way to help my animals, including seeing them on weekends. They have boarded my elderly rabbit so that she could get her medications and remain comfortable while I was out of town. My dog can be difficult to handle and they always treat her with compassion. My cat gets frightened as well and the staff always takes their time to make sure she feels safe and is gentle with her. Over the years my animals have been needy and Hope has always been there. They have done emergency surgeries so my pets didn’t have to wait. Hope does everything they can to solve the problem promptly. They always offer diagnostics and explain all charges before they perform any additional testing. The pricing is fair, and far less than most vets who handle fragile species. I appreciate them!

I genuinely don't think there is a place I trust more with my bunnies than Hope. Dr. B is seriously like the Einstein of vet medicine. I've had more than a few issues with my bunny's health, and the team at Hope always is ready to diagnose and treat even the most esoteric ailments. They've even done a procedure that *saved my bunny's life* that no other vets I spoke to were aware was possible. I think it's that level of hyper-specific, obscure knowledge that makes them so trustworthy. I have spent weeks and weeks researching certain uncommon bunny conditions and finding very few resources and literature on them, but Hope is always aware of these conditions and offers such a wide array of safe, effective treatment options. Sometimes the offices can get very busy, but the team still goes out of their way to accommodate any of my vet issues that come up. They even go out of their way to check in on my rabbits' health after exams. I'm probably rambling a bit too much, but I can't stress enough how amazing these people are. I've never felt even a dime I spent there wasn't unjustified. Thanks for everything, Hope team!

I had the privilege of working with all of these wonderful veterinary professionals for a short period of time. Unfortunately the stars were not aligned and I was not able to work with them full time

Dr. B is one of the most well educated, informative, and caring people I have ever worked for. She genuinely cares for every single one of her patients and knows how to put a owners at ease.

The skills I witnessed and learned here are unmatched and every individual working there consistently goes out of their way for the comfort of the patient and the owner. Anytime a procedure was discussed an estimate was provided for upfront pricing. They understand that vet bills can cost a pretty penny and are willing to discuss different options that are best for the patient and affordable for the owner. They know that every patient big and small deserves the best care and they provide all they can and then some!

Hope, Dr. Linda & her staff rock! I have 2 bunnies. When my oldest bunny had to be euthanized, Dr. Linda & her staff were so thoughtful & caring. They cared for not only my sweet bunny but were so gentle & loving to myself & my granddaughter who was with me that day. I did adopt another bunny at Missouri House Rabbit Society who are awesome as well. I took the new bunny to Hope on his way to a new home. As always, wonderful loving care.
I can not think of a better place for my 2 male bonded bunnies to get excellent care than at Hope

My daughter's mouse suddenly developed a head tilt. I called a local vet and they recommended Hope. I'm SO glad they did. They were able to give me an appointment the very next day. They were so nice, thorough, and professional. The mouse got antibiotics and was her old self by the 5th dose. I'm considering using Hope for all my pets!

I love my vet... They have squeezed in my pets despite being extremely busy! They treat my rabbit very well and explain things to me very clearly. They treated my hamster and, unfortunately, had to put her down. But today we received a care package from my vet. A card with heartfelt expressions from the doctor and staff there, a poem about loss, a counselor referral, and a memory book to personalize for our girl. They have sent us personalized keychains with emergency info for each of our pets. They have gone above and beyond for our family! We will continue to go there!

Hope Animal Hospital and Dr. B especially took incredible care of our rabbit while he was on palliative care. They squeezed us in last minute multiple times, including after hours and as a new patient. Though things were difficult with COVID, they did their best to keep us informed and involved. We went weekly for shots and the receptionist recognized us every time we called until they treated him excellently on his final night.

Rabbits and other small mammals are incredibly fragile, and while I am sorry to those who have lost pets after having them treated by Dr. B, I can say with certainty Dr. B cared deeply and did her best - and she is the best rabbit vet in the St. Louis area. When people balk at the prices, please know that the prices are high because small mammals like rabbits and guinea pigs are a specialized field. Typical vets receive less than a day’s worth of education on them, and specialists are naturally more expensive. If anyone is struggling with costs, I recommend CareCredit as a good option if your credit allows.

If you are reading this wondering if you should take your rabbit to the vet, please do.
