I wish I could give more stars! James, Connor and the team at Gateway Custom Painting went above and beyond to give me my deck back. Please see the before and after pictures. They came highly recommended from a previous customer with a similar deck stain situation. I have been waiting almost 3 years to get this job done and cannot be more pleased with the result. Our project manager, Connor, kept us in the loop every step along the way. He was always available to answer any questions I had and stopped by daily to check up on his team’s progress. The guys who did the work busted their butts for us over multiple days. I can’t speak highly enough of our experience with Gateway Custom Painting and plan to have them back to do more work for us when the time comes.

Gateway painted/sealed our deck. They got the job done in RECORD time for us when we were in a bind. On top of that, they really did a STELLAR job & even painted several beams for no additional cost even though we hadn't included it in the quote. James, Connor & Fabian truly went above & beyond to make our job a priority & do a great job. If we ever need additional painting services, will be calling James & the team at Gateway!

Gateway Painting has just finished painting the interior of our home and it looks better than new! James was able to accommodate our schedule as we are on a tight timeline putting our home on the market. During our initial walkthrough with James, we were thinking that we were going to need most of the interior walls painted, but James pointed out the walls that didn’t require a total paint job, just a touch up. We appreciate James’ honesty and it’s obvious that he puts the customer before a profit. The rest of James’ crew worked hand in glove to provide a very satisfying and stress-free job.

The team at Gateway did a great job for us. We live in an historical house that is 150 years old this year and we decided she deserved a fresh paint job. And, as is the case with older homes, we did have some "deferred maintenance" that also needed to be addressed and their team came through.

We spent a little extra time discussing expectations for the work to be done, and that is something I would recommend when engaging Gateway, or any other firm.

All-in-all, it was a positive experience and we are very pleased with the results.

Gateway Custom Painting company has been very professional from the beginning.
From getting the appointment for the estimate to finishing the painting job, it was easier than I expected. The estimate was much lower than other Painting companies. Also, the wooden doors and wooden window panels were coated with Poly-U and look very nice . None of the other painting companies even mentioned it.
We are very pleased with their work.

Gatewat painting is great. They were quick to fit us in the schedule and work completed in a timely manner. Awesome communication by all, very friendly, and took feedback into account and did touch ups as they went along. They did a great job & we would highly recommend for any painting needs.

Summer 2023 on behalf of the Association I interviewed painting contractors to paint the exterior of several of our units. From that beginning our experience with Gateway Painting has been extremely positive. From their first visit for a proposal, through to the completion of the job they were always on time as promised. Their communication about arrival times, product, and the work was always timely and to the point. Whenever I had a question or offered a suggestion, they were prompt to respond.

On the job their crew was courteous and conscientious. They did a terrific job of painting the units and their cleanliness was excellent. Another aspect of their work we appreciated was their follow-up to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with their work. We were very pleased with their service from start to finish and have made plans to use them again this summer on other units in our community.

Gateway Custom Painting did a very nice job staining our front door. Scheduling was quick and convenient. The painting team knew their product and applied the correct stain to match the door frames. Very neat in applying the stain. Company representative(s) were very thoughtful and courteousness on follow up and scheduled.

Gateway Custom Painting was GREAT. We set an appointment for an estimate. They showed up on the time and date as promised. They review what work they were going to complete. We had some siding repairs and painting done. They made sure we were happy with the siding match and paint color. They review with us what they completed each day. When the job was completed, they did a walk through to make sure we very totally satisfied. I would recommend Gateway 100%.

We had an excellent experience with Gateway Custom Painting from start to finish. Connor's communication and project management was flawless, the team was hard-working and efficient and did a beautiful job painting our deck, shed door and bathroom. They also replaced & painted some rotted spindles on the deck railing and came back to do some touch ups on the bathroom to make sure everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it. I had a few small jobs I needed done so did not spend a lot of time researching companies. I called them first and everything from the initial visit to the ample time they gave me to think it over (while still offering a seasonal discount), went so smoothly, I didn't bother getting other quotes. I have no regrets. They were very professional, helpful in explaining my options, and did a fantastic job painting the interior of a room and doing carpentry/painting to fix rotted wood on the exterior. They were on time, got the job done quickly and as a bonus, billed me quite a bit less than the estimated quote. I am very please with the company and will definitely be going back to them when it's time to repaint the entire house. Highly recommend them.

Our century home with aluminum siding had paint peeling a ton of places. GCP did a great job of repairing and painting our house. We had them paint the shutters as well because the sizes were a custom order, not easily replaced. Not to mention, they painted it before winter. We love it. Thank you.

I met James through a mutual customer and got first hand look at his work. Having to coordinate our tow trades James was easy to work with and the paint was immaculate! I recommend James to all my customers.

Solicited 4 estimates from local businesses to power wash my Cedar fence and reapply a chosen stain. I received exactly 1 response to my request and that was from Gateway Custom Painting LLC. I waited an entire week, looking for additional estimates or even an email or phone call. Needless to say, I never, heard back from the other 3 businesses. I can't begin to tell you how professional this company came across. They provided me with near daily updates on my project details and time frames. All work was completed in a timely manner with care given to my house, bushes, my neighbors fence and their landscaping. Other than a beautifully restored fence, you might never know they were ever there. As far as price, you get what you pay for. I felt the price and time frame regarding this project was fair and reasonable. Mr. Dawsons employees should be commended for their care and expertise. It's no easy task to find a qualified business that you have never used before to perform the work you're looking to complete. Therefore, you can believe me when I and profess their desire to make your project as seamless and professional as possible.
