THIS IS THE BEST FOR BREAKFAST!!! From the outstanding service to the more melt in your mouth delicious food!!! This place is a must-have!!
My fiancé and I drove out here for breakfast last Sunday.
This awesome place is a seat yourself establishment. There were only a couple of seats available when we sat in a booth. Our server was so sweet, welcoming, and very bubbly. The coffee was delicious and fresh, and our breakfast was outstanding!! We wish we lived closer because this would be a weekly must-have!!

Great food & service from Becky Thatcher's Diner. Excellent place in Hannibal to leap off for a Missouri adventure. Thanks Brooklyn & Crew!

My favorite spot to go during the week for breakfast. Prices are very reasonable and food was great. I feel for the few that didn’t like their food but you know that’s true everywhere. Overcooked, undercooked, too salty not salty, everyone has their own tastes. But come and give it a chance. Brooklyn was the server this morning and others helped too. Coffee was great and I’m picky. Sunday does get busy as does every other place, but anyway, just my two bits, you decide.

Great nostalgic 50s diner. Of course, we loved the nod to Becky Thatcher, Tom Sawyer's love interest from the Mark Twain book, in Mark Twain's hometown. Just a few blocks from the MO river. We parked up the street and enjoyed the walk and old downtown, with thriving shops and coffee shops along the way. Definitely we will be going back to Hannibal and this diner. Waitress was down home friendly too!!

This place was great! The portions were huge, & the prices were reasonable! I ordered the (hand breaded) Chicken Fried Steak! It tasted great, the hashbrowns, & eggs were perfectly cooked! You can't go wrong with this! All the staff was very friendly, & the restaurant was very clean! This is definitely a popular spot for locals!

Enjoyable dining experience in downtown Hannibal at this gem. My brother and I both ordered the country fried steak breakfast dinners and were pleasantly satisfied with our choice. The eggs, hashbrowns, toast, gravy and country fried steak were cooked to perfection. The look of the diner, just gave you that feel you can't get everywhere. Our server was very nice and attentive. Just an overall pleasant experience. If you're hungry, this place won't disappoint.

Great little diner. Amazing food and even better service. We had the biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, and sausage. All scratch Made with great ingredients. Best stop we could have made.

What a great place, a relaxing break from a typical restaurant. Friendly staff, the waitress Brooklyn was amazing with her genuine interaction with us. Fyi owners, Give this girl a raise! Food was so good. This is now on my list of must return places.

Amazing little find! Can’t miss it with the big sign. Here visiting from out of town and we were lucky to eat here. Busy the whole time we were there. Hubby had the double with cheese & house chips. I had the black bean burger, and it was pleasantly amazing! Even the hubby liked the burger and he’s a meat guy. We also split an order of onion rings, loved the batter. Very tasty. We’d highly recommend this place and if we’re ever back would stop in to try breakfast as well.

Today, we stopped in while waiting for an online appointment with my sons teacher. We ordered the pork tenderloin, the fried chicken sandwich, and a chili burger. The food was hand breaded and seasoned perfectly. The fries were homemade, too! Just would have preferred that they do the double fry to make them crispy. Not complaining at all though. Everything was delicious! Our server was sweet and very accommodating. Hopefully we will have a chance to come back by for breakfast some time.

Love the diner style decor and the waitresses are always the sweetest.

I can assure you your coffee cup with never run empty even with all the commotion and packed tables.

Wait time, if there is one is never more than 10 minutes.

Best place highly recommend the ham and eggs! Huge portions, always have time take leftovers home.

We left Chicago early Friday morning and we were hankering for a hearty breakfast by the time we got to Missouri. Hannibal is the perfect detour from our road trip and a destination in itself. Becky Thatcher's diner is cute and clean, and open early. My dude ordered biscuits and gravy and I had corned beef hash. His biscuits were soft and buttery, and the gravy had a good amount of sausage.
I think they make the corned beef in house because it had big pieces and was seasoned perfectly. The server forgot my toast, but with all that beef and 2 perfect eggs, I didn't need it. Coffee was just okay and i didn't see the bottom of my cup during our time there. It was the perfect stop on our way to kansas city.

This was a true diner experience. We sat at the counter. A dessert cake was displayed on a plate under glass on the counter. Lots of memorabilia to see. Hot turkey sandwiches with potatoes and gravy. Blackberry cobbler for dessert. Delicious!

We were sat rather soon after entry, despite the place being rather packed during the after-church rush. We were checked on frequently, and the waitresses each seemed to take a turn walking around to top off coffee mugs and check on beverage needs of all guests, whether that waitress was serving that table or not. Food was great as well, loved the chopped steak with mushrooms. The over easy eggs were perfect. The hashbrowns and toast were simply what I expect to have when I order those things, nothing groundbreaking, which is fine.

We also noticed the waitresses got along great with each other and had good relations with customers, making it feel like the staff are treated well by management and are allowed to have a little fun and be friendly. It was a great atmosphere!

Just had a perfect diner lunch! Tenderloin sandwich was *perfectly* seasoned and onion rings were the right side to go with.
