They are AMAZING! Best tailor around. Tried others especially the tailor by ShopRite in Manchester. As far as I’m concerned they are the worst. Ruined my clothes. Ruined my friends gown too. My friends and I all use Tailoring While You Wait. You should too.

Being a procrastinator, I brought my dress in the last minute to have alterations done. My dress was done in four days and everything was perfect. I would definitely use them again. Cash only.

They have a very good sense of humor when talking on the phone. She giggled a few times with me. When I told her what my issue was and I feel. This place would be the best place to bring something that needs to be altered. Let out or fixed because you thought you were a seamstress. And oh, boy, what did you do to your clothing? Now it needs professional help.

Excellent work ! Highly recommend for alterations! I need so many of my pants and clothes altered. This is the best place I’ve found ! Staff is friendly and beyond helpful in discussing proper alteration options. Had alterations done on jeans and dress pants . Also, dry cleaning. Very happy . Going back for dress alterations and more dress pants!

I dropped off a bridesmaid dress here to get hemmed. I got it back, very well done and ahead of schedule. Highly recommend.

I work in the medical field and was unable to get my bridesmaid dress altered due to my hectic schedule during the pandemic. My dress was too long. On top of that, it tore 2 nights before the wedding. I went to TWYW first thing in the morning and they had fixed the length of my dress and repaired the tear within a few hours. The work was impeccable! I am extremely grateful that they squeezed me in.

When I liver local I always went there. I now live 40 miles away n the tailor near me is horrible so tomorrow i will continue using this place. They are worth the 40 mile drive

The people who work here are PHENOMENAL!! My daughter’s prom dress needed so much work done to it becuase she’s really small and the dress was a little too big. They helped her in a jiffy in the height of prom dress tailoring season and she looked fabulous. The dress fit lovely! They don’t cost a lot either. Now, anything that we need fixed or tailored, I take right over to Tailoring While You Wait because I trust them so much. They take so much care and pride into what they do it’s fabulous. If you need anything tailored or fixed and want it to be done well, hands down this is the place to go.

Wah wah wah... "I had to wait". The business has been around for over 40 years. When people use to have the skill to sew and the store could have 4 or 5 tailors on staff at any given time, they could do less intricate jobs while customers waited... I saw it many times. These days, they're lucky if they have 3 on staff, and lately it's been 2. I'll get them to put "And Wait And Wait And Wait..." under the sign if that will make you entitled whiners happy.

I was in the area for a wedding and this is the only place I could find. I went in and needed alterations to be done that same day since the suit didn't fit right. Amazingly, true to its name, they were able to fix the waist and length in less than an hour. Good price. Great service.

I had bought a sample sale wedding gown that was completely destroyed in the back, tons of holes, had pulls in the lace through the bottom and a hole in the front. Using the leftover lace from my hem the seamstress (im sorry i never got her name) COMPLETLEY reconstructed this dress and covered every hole matching the lace design perfectly, (and took it in as well.) I could not be happier with how it turned out and completely reasonably priced. I would 100% reccomend them and definitely use them again

Have been going there for decades for dry cleaning and alterations. I’ve always had good experiences. Would recommend without any hesitation.

First of all, most of the negative reviews stem from having to wait. Yes, you will have to wait for the work to be done. Dont go there if you need it right away. However, if you are willing the wait, the work is meticulous. Will definitely use again.

Needed 2 suit jackets altered. They took me immediately, measured me and said one week. I said sounds good ! Friendly staff

They don't "Tailor While U Wait" however every single time I bring a shirt or pants in to be fitted they come out outstanding. Usually it takes a week but the outcome is always awesome.

I was in town for a family event last Saturday and realized my dress pants ‘had shrunken’ quite a bit since the last time I wore them. I stopped by the shop and they altered them on the spot. Great service!
