These donuts transported me to a simpler time. Suddenly, I was 7. It was breakfast at Nana’s. Sesame Street was on PBS. Life was good. Nana brought out the donuts fresh from the fryer. I bite. The crisp edge. The fluffy center. Man, life is good.

Too long, didn’t read: come for the donuts, stay for the donuts. The service was exceptional, and I can’t wait to come again.

Went here for the fresh donuts in the morning. They were hot and fresh, the cinnamon and sugar ones reminds the one you can find at a cider mill, in the fall of most cold weather states! All of them were tasty,i would eat here again!

This is the best place to get old fashion homemade donuts on the ocean city island. They make them fresh, serve them hot, & are delicious. The line for take out donuts is long but I generally like to eat at the restaurant so the donuts are piping hot! If you want to eat there, getting there early is the best thing to do. Breakfast is good- but donuts are the star. They have vanilla, honey, cinnamon sugar, chocolate, plain, and powdered. (That is also in my preferred order!) You must try this place if you are on the island. I recommend riding bikes on the boardwalk to get here (if able) because you’ll have to be luck to find street parking by here!

Wow!! Fresh donuts!! We got all the flavors except “Plain”. I would suggest ordering the half dozen - you get a small discount compared to ordering them individually. We also ordered egg breakfasts but they did not make it into a picture. Overall, I’d say the meal is rated a 92/100. The staff is attentive and has young energy. Get here early, it gets busy later in the morning.

I got 6 cinnamon sugar donuts from the donut window. There were three young men working and they were so friendly and efficient. Donuts go straight from the fryer to the cinnamon sugar and then into your box. This place is CASH ONLY, and be sure to bring a $10 so you can tip your change. The service certainly deserves it. I have been going to Browns for almost 30 years. I remember when this place was just a small window with a donut machine inside.

While they only have six flavors of donuts, this is all you need. They have the classics, nothing more. I prefer the vanilla or cinnamon sugar but you can't go wrong with any of them. Recently, I've been ordering the honey variety.

Also, don't overlook their breakfast menu. If you get there early enough, you can easily find a spot inside or outside. They have a great menu of traditional diner-style breakfast food (including Scrapple!)

PRO TIP: Grab breakfast at the counter and order a dozen doughnuts on your way out to take home. They won't let you just order donuts there but if you eat a meal you can grab some to go!

This review has been a longtime coming. I've been going to Browns for almost 10 years now, and they have, by far, the best breakfast in Ocean City! My wife and I went there this morning, I got the #6 cream chipped beef, she got the sunrise special sandwich on a bagel. We got got 2 chocolate covered doughnuts... Always the best!! The best cream chipped beef at any breakfast joint I've ever been to and hands down the best home made doughnuts I've ever had.
Please support Browns! They are really hurting from the pandemic, and it would be a shame if a place this awesome were to disappear because of it.

I’ve been going to browns since a was a kid, never disappointed! Worlds best donuts. All their breakfast foods are amazing and the water ice.

Our family always looks forward to our trips here! Stellar family service and great food! Best donuts ever! Get there early if you want to avoid the line... But it's worth the wait if you can't! Never disappoints!

An absolute gem of Ocean City. My "secret" spot from the 80s is very popular now, but we'll worth the wait. Great family-owned breakfast and lunch spot. Great food, great price. Donuts are world-class and fresh-made!

This is my all-time favorite breakfast spot in Ocean City, NJ. Amazing donuts, a solid breakfast menu, and a great view of the ocean. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here since 1996. This place defined my summers growing up and has a permanent place in my heart. My mom and I would bike here every morning for breakfast and donuts. Wait in line and grab a seat at the counter. We watched the same staff through the years deliver the same great food with the same great attitude. Some are still there, some have gone, some have grown so much. These are the best donuts I have had in my life or ever will have. I now live quite far away and don't vacation in ocean city and my mom is no longer here to share my breakfast with but I will always love this place and long for the donuts. 2 chocolate, 2 cinnamon.

My husband and I chose Browns as our rehearsal dinner location and we couldn’t be happier! Our family still raves about the food—everything was so delicious, especially the crab cake appetizers and doughnut ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Missy and Kelsey were extremely accommodating and you can’t beat the location on the boardwalk!

I ordered this place, with my family and friends down here and it was AMAZING! The cinnamon donuts are personally my favorite. They are so tasty! They are fresh, smell awesome, and taste awesome. Thanks for having the best donuts. Love you guys!

Browns is one of my all time favorite places in OC. Their donuts are amazing but ONLY SEVERED UNTIL 11!! They’re open until 4 but their donuts are so fresh that they don’t even have any to sell in their afternoon hours. Expect a loooong line if you go for a donut in the AM. Usually moves quick! Their food is okay, but their location is great. End of the boardwalk has better beaches.

These are the best donuts around! It is usually a long wait in line to get them, but well worth it!

Biked from 18th street just to get these donuts because I heard they were really good. Got the chocolate glazed and loved the taste. It was warm and not too fluffy with a golden batter. Very good and only .95 per donut. Definitely a place to visit while at the beach!

Must bike here and earn your junk food delight. Nothing more fresh than getting your donuts straight from the fryer. These people serve pure happiness. (Oves comes in a very close second and less wait... Do both)
