Extremely helpful, they do whatever they can do for you and whatever they can't help you with, they have recommendations to other places.

I didn't even know This place existed until about a week ago When my dear friend said that they've helped other people out in times of need. I've never had to utilize this kind of service before. But I believe that God works in mysterious ways. And if anything a house of god would be able to help me. So I told the parish about what was going on in my life currently. Because we just recently lost our home. And I had to put my belongings into a storage unit. I Have small children so with it. Being the holidays and Christmas right around the corner and potentially possibly being able to find a new place. I didn't want to lose what we had remaining. Which was pretty much everything we own in this unit.

Originally my first conversation with the parish, seemed like they would be able to help me, but after reviewing my situation or better yet how it was presented to the board, they denied my request for help. So my question to the lady was in the word of God. Doesn't it say that when our brother is in time of need that we're supposed to look out for them when they're hungry. We're supposed to feed them when they're thirsty. We're supposed to give them drink. We are to encourage each other in the faith and to lift each other up,to help each other in any way that we can. Because that's what a brother in Christ is supposed to do.

when she told me that they only select particular matters and then more or less told me I wasn't a member of her parish and they werent willing to help. I was kind of taken back because my parish serves multiple townships and multiple counties, And we don't limit to just our congregation. We service and take care of all members of Christ regardless of where you come from.,So I indirectly felt like I was being turned away from ahouse of god and my family truly needed the help. It's the holiday season you would think they would have a heart of compassion for a family truly in need.

I even offered receipts to show legitimately what it was for and it wasn't enough. After a few more moments of conversation I was hung up on.

These women (most of them except Linda) are always so rude! I honestly hate going there anymore for food because literally every time I go there or call to set up, the woman is so incredibly nasty how she speaks to me. So disrespectful for a church member. Someone needs to be aware of this situation! But ofcoarse like all society, nothing will be done to correct it. Shame on you women. God will give you what you deserve!
