New York Cafe and Grill - Ocean City

After reading the many terrible reviews of this place, we came here just to see how bad it was. Much to our surprise, it was great! Best bagels in town!

While in Ocean City for the week, our family wanted to have a special bagels and lox brunch. We looked up “Best Bagels” snd found this New York Cafe. Seeing the bagels, lox and toppings platter and we thought we’d give it a try. It was a great move! The platter was full of everything you could want on your bagel and plenty of it! The bagels were delicious too, big and chewy like in NYC! Everyone was impressed and full! Five stars plus for New York Cafe, we’ll be back again!

The best breakfast sandwiches in Ocean City, NJ. Would recommend this place every time. They make their own beagles on site. There is plenty of parking and dining inside and outside.

Best bagels in Ocean City. I order a toasted garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese, turkey, swiss cheese, cucumbers and red onion. The best!! We come here at least once for breakfast every trip. Service is always great. A favorite.

We stumbled upon this gem of a place on our bicycle ride this morning and stopped in. We had a wonderful breakfast and great kibbutzing with a regular customer and new friend.
I had a delicious bagel and lox special.

These are some of the best bagel sandwiches we have ever had. Delicious! And the coffee was out of this world! It's a must when you are in Ocean City!

Great bagels and they have great bagel sandwiches. I enjoyed the garlic bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese, fresh and delightful! I also love their tossed salad with tuna salad and the updated outdoor seating is nice.

I was looking for a place that served lox and bagels. I called and spoke to a very polite girl that assured me she had what I was looking for. When we arrived, the place was clean, friendly, not crowded, and the food.... OUTSTANDING! The bagel and fish looked and tasted fresh and delicious. They won me over. We will be back for sure! Simply amazing. Ps.. not sure who the girl is that answered the phone and took our order but she obviously knows the food and business well. She was so incredibly sweet. I hope the owner knows she’s a rare find of an employee. Great impressions!

Absolute best tuna salad wraps. Roasted peppers, olives, carrots…so many toppings to pick from its just delish. I am super picky about tuna salad and this is the only place I get it in OCNJ. Don’t miss this little place. Outstanding bagels made each day (which is why they sometimes run out so get them early). They freeze really well so get a dozen. Indoor and outdoor seating!

Excellent food; excellent value; super fast delivery. We will definitely be ordering again. We got the family style linguine and clams and it could easily feed 6 adults for $50

Best bagels in south Jersey. Also had a roast beef sandwich and a pastrami sandwich- very, very good. Overstuffed with meat and delicious! Will go back every time I’m in OC.

Awesome place I ordered a Cheeseburger and my wife had a Chicken Cheesestake It was delicious. The burger was nice and big and juicy. Her chicken cheesestake was actual pieces of chicken not shredded Loved It!

Been going for years. Great food, friendly staff, very tasty panninis. Would highly recommend it for lunch. Breakfast is simple Cafe style: breakfast sandwiches, etc. They have very good coffee, lattes and cappuccinos, not-so-sweet with a good coffee taste.

Really delicious!!! We had lox and bagels, fries and corned beef roll up. Will return again. They have a HUGE menu

You have to know the cafe is there to know it’s there so make sure you find this little treasure! Breakfasts are delicious. I have been there a number of times even though I’m in the far south end but it’s well worth getting in the car & making the trip uptown.. Best bagels in OCNJ ... they are yummy!!!

Really just what you want out of a NY Bagel place! Family run, great service, bagels are amazing. Just really good people putting out really great product!

Great food in OC!!! Big order....lox & bagel...burgers....apps...salads...sandwiches....ALL GREAT!! Fast delivery via GrubHub. We were even "gifted" with some fresh bagels. Will be ordering again very soon!!
