Very pleasant staff in the kitchen, as well as the deli counter employees and cashier. I also happen to be a subcontractor for the 1 of the owners and can personally vouch for the fact that she puts everything into her establishment and I am proud to do business with her.
They also make an A+ cheesesteak.

Ordered a last-minute antipasto tray, and it was absolutely beautiful! Great service & prices were decent for what I received. Will definitely be back.

We walked to the grocery store (rather than the restaurant) from our condo while on vacation. The customer service was fabulous. We bought groceries and ordered sandwiches for lunch. The turkey meatball sub was given an A+ by my son-in-law. The Italians were yummy but maybe too many hot peppers, so I will mention that in the future. Lots of selection for a small grocery store. All the folks who waited on us and checked us out couldn't have been kinder or lovelier. Great little market.

Their filet mignon take out dinner is one of our favorite dinners in OCNJ.

Those chicken tenders are incredibly good! They even have a whole store of various food items such as chips, candy, snacks, and whatnot that you can purchase when you go in the place!

This neighborhood store carries the basic items plus a great selection of prepared food for all three meals; breakfast, lunch & dinner. No need to go to other places for take out food. Will be back again.

My wife and I love this place we go there at least 3 times a week when we go to the shore. We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints.

When I'm in town and don't want to cook, I go to Boyars. So far everything I've had, including meat from the butcher, has been good to exceptional.
Now a rant.
I've read some bad reviews because of added tax and 3% fees for credit card usage. There's always tax on prepared food in NJ . Fast food restaurants don't post prices with tax. Just because you don't know this, don't take it out on the business. And many small businesses charge for credit card use. Heck, most of Ocean City didn't accept credit cards until COVID. Why should they lose 3%profit because you don't carry cash? I love how people say they want to support local businesses, but can't wait to throw them under the bus as soon as they get home. People in the food industry and in retail are tired and short staffed. I think anyone who wants to post a bad review should first have to work at that business for a day. Without pay. Hahaha.

One of the best places in OC. Prices are reasonable, employees are friendly, and the food is delicious! Try their chicken sandwiches - chicken cacciatore and chicken cheese steak were absolutely excellent

Closed until March...We are all missing the homemade hot foods, soups,and Robert's perfectly butchered steaks, chops and chicken. Entertaining is always easy when they are open because of all the wonderful party trays, my favorite is the fruit tray with dip and the cutlet tray. Counting down the days until they reopen. Let's make sure we all visit when they reopen so they can get back into practice creating all our favorite meals...

October 2021 - I just bought two chicken breasts on the bone with skin. Brought them home and put them under the broiler for 25 minutes. Oh my God! It’s been such a long time since I’ve had such a fantastic piece of chicken. The breast was very plump and I just wanna say, thank you Boyars Market!

Boyer's is that awesome local store where the family works hard and serves up great quality products at competitive prices. It's amazing how much variety there is in what should be a tight space.
Lunch? Order sandwiches and salads made to order just the way you want them. Pair that with some homemade potato salad or coleslaw. A bag of one of the million varieties and brands of chips is also an option. My favorite though is to order deli meat and cheese on a fresh Rando baguette.
Dinner? When we refuse to cook, we head to the deli counter and spin the wheel of awesomeness. Grilled vegetables, prepared entrees, sausages, meatballs, pulled pork, barbeque chicken.
Always available are fresh vegetables, bread and rolls, and seasonal fruit.
Nice people, great variety and quality. The equation is perfect for me.

This is Ocean Cities hidden gem! You can order from take-out in the back of the market. Their food is carry out only and well worth the trip! Just remember, if you have Celiac's to say no butter on the grill. Also, anything cold that was grilled could be a bad choice if you have gluten issues. (ex: shrimp)
They have an extensive menu. If you get chicken salad you are given a boatload of lettuce. Ask for extra dressing.
We've sampled 6 meals so far and everything was deliscious!

Best local grocery/deli in Ocean City. Hot and cold ready foods, wide variety of deli meats, fresh vegetables, great fresh rolls for sandwiches, a sandwich take out section and, they're butchers so you can get made to size steaks and stuff. Pricey, but worth the stop if you want good food while avoiding the full supermarket.

This wonderful Market has been around since I have been coming to Ocean City as a little kid. They always Pride themselves and having fresh food and fast service. They offer catering for parties and special events. I highly recommend anything that you get from Boyer's.
