Tardi's Ristorante Italiano

Had my first dinner at Tardi’s and all I have to say is WOW! From the moment we walked in the doors to the moment we left, we were absolutely pleased with the entire experience and can’t wait for our next date night! We ordered zucchini flowers, chicken parm, and a garlic pasta and I swear heaven was made from the food here. The chef even came out and personally thanked us for coming! I’m not one to write reviews but, seriously, this place is worth it.

Don’t miss this great BYOB. Our family of 10 had an early dinner here this evening. Our waiter, Dylan, was spectacular. Friendly, positive and attentive. The food was awesome. Great fried calamari, meatballs and mussels for apps. And the entrees were huge and delicious. Would have never had guessed this from a small storefront in a strip center. Great vibe…highly recommend!

Outstanding Restaurant. Hugh portions. A salad comes with dinner. Great service. We had the Tirimisu for dessert. Ask for Jamie. She is off on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
The restaurant is open seven days a week. Reservations are highly recommended.

Have been here 3 times now and each experience has been absolutely fantastic! The staff is top notch, atmosphere terrific and the food is outstanding!! The dishes are enormous and I’m always bringing more then half home because I’m stuffed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic meal! You can’t go wrong!!

This is our first time at Tardi’s and wondering why? We heard from a few friends about this place and we were so glad we finally tried it. Another hidden gem in Toms River. The food was excellent!!! The best Shrimp Scampi in town! Dylan, our server was great!!! His food recommendations were on point. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend it. And its BYOB.

We totally love this place! Food, service, everything is wonderful. It's BYOB, which for us is great. Today was my birthday so I brought a couple cans of cutwater beverages to enjoy with my dinner (I'm not a wine drinker) Our waitress brought me a glass with ice and a straw which was extremely convenient. Every time we go, we are never disappointed.

They greet you wonderfully when you walk in the door, seat you almost immediately, bring you bread and bruschetta while you look over the menu. The bread is crusty and soft in the middle and the bruschetta is very flavorful and fresh. Both were amazing. The menu options are extensive. I love it! It makes it hard to choose what you're having that evening because everything sounds so wonderful.

Our waitress tonight, Brianna, was also amazing. She checked in often, satisfied every need, was very personable, pleasant and upbeat. That says a lot considering we were their last service for the evening.

As an appetizer, I ordered their special of the evening, they're stuffed mushrooms. They are stuffed with Italian sausage, broccoli rabe and cheese and served with a Marsala sauce. Omg! Delish!

For dinner, I ordered their veal saltimbocca and exchanged the vegetable (carrots) with sauteed broccoli rabe. The veal just melts in your mouth. I was in heaven!

My fiance ordered the calamari and the zuppa di pesce. It's a mixture of shellfish on pasta with a light red sauce. He absolutely loved both.

Since today was my birthday, I needed to bring something home to stick a candle in. I ordered their Italian cheesecake. Omg! Want to talk about an amazing finish to an amazing meal? Wow!

As you leave, they make it a point to say goodbye. It just made it even more special.

We will continue going here. We were fortunate that being it was a Wednesday, we were able to make a reservation an hour beforehand. I know they are normally booked, especially Fridays and weekends and mostly during the summer, being that we're so close to the shore. My only regret is that they only have 11 tables and are by reservation only. We will probably be taking advantage of their takeout more often. Lol

Thank you Tardi's (and Brianna) for making my birthday so special. We will be back again soon! I promise! ♥♥♥

Absolutely amazing! We had my sons communion here they went above and beyond! Not only was the food delicious the amount of food you get is unbelievable! The staff was extremely attentive to all our needs they truly were amazing. We are looking forward to our future parties here!! So happy we found this restaurant!

This place was amazing!!! You better have reservations or don't expect to sit and eat. I got the "special" veal chop it was as big as my plate which must be about 16 inches long. My wife got the chicken frachaise which she told me was the best she ever had. I brought my leftovers home, where my wife and I cut it in half and shared it the next night for dinner. The service was great. I've been living in this area for 35 years and never even heard of the place. It was our first time there and I guarantee you will not be our last.

Fantastic service!!! My family and I felt so included, as if we were apart of the family that services this establishment! Upon entering, the location is moderately traditional, just beautiful. The aroma of the food was very promising of a delicious meal. Mike was the sweetest, most personable person here. We did not know we needed reservations but he still took us and we were seated to be served. He made my family and I feel so appreciated. The appetizers that were first delivered were amazing (unfortunately I do not know the name of the bread topped with tomato, excuse my ignorance) but it was PHENOMENAL. From there we ordered the calamari and mozzarella sticks.. when I tell you this has to be the freshest mozzarella I have ever had in my omg i really mean it! We were already stuffed by time we received our entrees but it was FRESH, everything down to the GARNISH IS FRESH AND HAND MADE!!! Lobster ravioli, Chicken Parm, and Halibut special taste like god guided the chef personally in the creation of these dishes. I appreciate this location so much for the ambiance, tradition, and great tasting food it brings. I am from Philadelphia but i will kindly make my way back for more!

Not always easy to get into this place because always booked. To eat there will tell you why. The food and service are amazing. From the fresh hot bread to appies entrees and deserts once again all four people we dined with said best ever or food was delicious. It is a must try. My veal Milanese was not only delicious but was HUGE! Cousin had same but veal chop parm and was to die for. 6******

We went there based on Yelp reviews and they didn't disappoint. The bruschetta and bread were on the house. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmigiano, and it's tender and tasty. I got the Sole Marachiara (with clams and mussels), and potato croquette instead of pasta; I enjoyed every bite. The food was delicious, and the portion was generous. The staff was friendly as well.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Food was spectacular. Kudos to the chef. our servers Brianna and Dylan were at the top of there game. Go for the pork chops Murphy… You won’t reveal it.

The food was DELICIOUS!! Homemade pasta was amazing. Our server was Gio and he was very helpful and friendly. The place is small which adds to its charm in my opinion. Overall a great spot to eat and we will definitely be back regularly.

Great, great food! People were fabulous, service was impeccable. Very nice inside. Dont let the outside fool you, in a strip mall. I live an hour away but will be going back for sure! BYOB.

The food was great and the service was perfect. The staff was attentive, passionate, and executed at a high level. They cook seafood perfectly, everything was lightly done (the way fish should be cooked), well flavored and properly seasoned. It really surpassed my expectations, we will definitely be back.
