Winding River Park

Very peaceful by the water, The walks are great , the scenery is amazing. Nature is all we got and Winding River Park is a great place to be.

I've been going to this park since I was a kid so maybe it's nostalgia but I love it. The trail is nice and peaceful considering it's proximity to the highway. It's a small quaint place to have a nice walk. Plenty of benches and places to chill. Paved main trail and plenty of unpaved branches

Beautiful park filled with some great activities for kids and adults! The bike trail is great, I also love the playgrounds and bathrooms are very clean. They have a great ball park as well for all types of baseball games, or kickball!

This is a beautiful park with a 3.4mi out and back paved path from restroom to restroom. There are benches along the way and a bathroom, playground and covered picnic area at each end. There are no maps or directional signs, but it is fairly obvious which direction to go. Everyone is friendly and will point you in the right direction if needed. Pictures updated for summer. Very beautiful and easy walk or great for you kids on bikes.

Some really good off road trails and plenty of black top trails. Have to warn you about the wild life. As I was sitting on the bench in the photo 2 women were passing and said be careful of the snake that's behind you! Being the city boy that I am I jumped up and said snake what snake. They pretty much saw the terror in my face when I saw a big black water snake that was a couple of feet next to me. The snake got scared cause I probably was a little loud thank God and took off. No worries just be careful where you sit. 😆 lol

Great place to walk. We'll paved path plus little side paths through the woods. The deer must be used to people, they stayed in their grazing areas and just watched us as we walked by.

A nice location for a swap meet of the antique outboard motor club. Excellent facility. Plenty of parking, modern rest rooms. Nice pavilion.

Quiet but with a ball park, playground and nature trail. We come to with a pizza just to relax sometimes too! (Family of 4 :)

I stop in on my way home for some ultralite fishing from time to time. Clean park, great place.

This park is an awesome place to walk, too just go and chill and get your head together to relieve stress. Great place for dog walking

Winding River Park is a great place for a walk or just sit and listen to nature.

My second most favorite in Ocean County. The trails and experiencing nature's gifts and beauty are fabulous here. There is a stillness and very little people walk the trails which makes one feel one with nature here. I have had some sacred experiences here. Grateful to have this park to visit.

Great place to for get togethers. Softball fields, soccer fields, ice skating, trails to walk. Awesome remembrance park in the back.

Great for walking, hiking, biking. And has nice parks from one winding road to the next.
Just be sure to save your GPS location cuz it can get confusing going back

Beautiful park. Well maintained and serine. We went to a birthday party in a pavilion there and it was lovely. There's plenty of parking, the pavilion was clean and built to be sturdy and beautiful. It was a Sunday afternoon but we only saw a few people walking around. Dogs need to be kept on a leash, so there's no worry about a dog joining the party. I will consider renting the pavilion myself for a future party. It was a beautiful setting for a party of any kind and very large with clean metal picnic tables and trash cans around. Even if it had been raining you'd be well protected from the elements. And we were quite surprised and pleased that there didn't seem to be any bugs around

My pops has been taking my sisters and I here since before we could walk. I'll always love this park. Always finding new trails. They demolished the Albocondo campground in the last 6 months which was disappointing not being able to see it anymore but, it's an awesome park still none the less!

Close to home with great views during our walks.
