Diesel's Subs & Wraps

Been looking for a great pastrami sub since moving to NJ 3 yrs ago. Many places don’t carry it. Tried Diesel’s for the first time ever and loved the pastrami! Great portions, made just how I asked and reasonably priced. Love how the meats are sliced to order as they make sandwiches. Fresh and delicious!

At first, I thought these were going to be regular, maybe premium subs. They're HUGE! 1/4 of the sub is bigger than my hand! Not only that, they're absolutely delicious, fresh, light.. We also got wings, juicy and tasty. The ladies here are extremely friendly too. I recommend this!

Best Cobb salad I have ever had! If you want a sub with tons of meat, Diesel's is the place. They are also amazing.

Went to this place for the first time today and I can not explain the satisfaction and respect I now hold for this place. The sandwiches were absolutely amazing today.

When ordering a sandwich you would think its a bit expensive but give it a try!!!! This place is not cheap with the amount of food they give. The food is worth the price and I would pay it without any question ever.

This experience made this sub place our go to spot especially since we are extremely close. The roast beef sandwich was fresh, the bread nice and soft, the added peppers gave it an amazing taste and I had a mayo on it that just took the entire thing over the top. The BLT was loaded with bacon not just 1 or 2 pieces.

Give it a try, trust me.

Great place. Great staff and great coffee. You've got to try the pork roll, egg, hash brown and cheese. Their subs are terrific. They need more recognition. I just wish that they would open a bit earlier. They're a bit nondescript in the area but man, what a hidden gem.

Had subs from there before...they are really good...had my first Italian hotdog yesterday....it was the best...!!!..got a whole one... didn't share it with anyone...lol..

This place is always good no matter what you order

I happened to stop in here to see if they had anything (vegan) for me, but I didn’t find anything I was craving. Anyway, there were two women in there that were clearly homeless & didn’t have much on them. They were trying to scrape up some spare change between the two of them. A man working behind the counter (who appeared to be the owner) told them to get whatever they wanted from the menu and it was on him. I really don’t write reviews a lot, but this deserves some recognition! I will absolutely be coming back here. Feels great to know there’s still good in the world♥

Thanks to Diesel’s subs for catering our sons birthday party. The food was fresh and prepared on time. Compared to other sandwich places, they also have great pricing. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Our favorite go to local sub shop. Great lunch specials daily. It’s always busy, show how good it is. Wife gets salads a lot - they make anything you want . the owner very accommodating. Staff is always on the ball.
Locals police pick up all the time too. That in itself defines a great place. They always know the best spots.Highly recommend.

Great quality food! All of their ingredients are good quality whether it's meat or the vegetables. Many sub shops will have decent meat and cut the corner on the bread or vegetables. Not Diesel's though. Everything is great. I also get their salads a lot at well. Again, all good, high quality ingredients used through-out. I would highly recommend signing up for their daily specials!

First time here! Best subs I’ve EVER had. Ordered #9 sub and it was soo delicious! I don’t really write reviews but I had to write one for how amazing this place is! Def will be coming back.

I am here all the time and I have to say, hands down best subs I've had around bayville! I love how they slice the meat thin, everyone is friendly every time I've gone in OR had things delivered I highly recommend.

They load it up. Think $12 is expensive for a BLT sub? Think again when they put like an entire pack of bacon on your sandwich and it feeds 2 people easy. Also really great pickles, trust me when you go add a whole pickle they're like a buck 25 and so good.
They have big bags of chips, big bins of cut pickles, drinks, everything you need to pack a great lunch to go for your day of fun in the sun.
Great friendly staff, never had a problem. Never had a problem with my severe dairy allergy either (means the place is well organized and clean in the kitchen or else cross contamination would cause a reaction).
Usually I would give a 4 but, I honestly can't think of anything wrong with the place. Its great and my family has been coming for years whenever we're packing lunch for a day at the shore.

Food is always good: chicken fingers, French fries, turkey club, meatball parm sub..
Whatever I order is made fast and accurately. In and out, no problemo.
Prices are a bit high, but where I get two meals from a full-size sub at other places, here I can easily get three.
Route 9 majorly sucks to drive on, but I'll still grudgingly do it to get food here.
