Half Moon Point Tavern & Grill

We held our baby shower at Half Moon Point and it was perfect! The food was amazing and the staff was able to accommodate many different dietary restrictions. The room was great and the bar staff was so friendly!

I was at half moon a few times I have to say that Austin is the best. Just a regular down to earth guy and served me with professionalism. He was also personable and able to speak to. You can tell he is a really nice guy and great bartender since everyone at the bar not only spoke direct to him but knew him like he was family. Can’t ask for more than that. Great time…. I’ll be back for sure ! Thanks Austin

I hosted a private event here, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience. From planning, to day of, every single employee I interacted with was so incredibly helpful. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was exceptional. I’m so glad I went with Half Moon Point for my private event.

Just had a delicious meal. The flat iron steak with garlic mashed potatoes with goat cheese on top and grilled zucchini was fabulous. I have never been disappointed with any meal I have had there. Been going there for 6 years since I moved to Brick. Austin the bartender was very attentive and friendly.

Very nice restaurant in Point Pleasant with dishes for the finer tastes and the more down to earth. Everything we had was tasty, the drinks were excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Best spot in Point that I know of for a nice dinner with friends and family or for a nice date.

We went for lunch and it was amazing. Best salads we've had in a long time. Fresh ingredients with a couple twists on the usual take, but nothing too risky. Just check out the menu and you'll find something inspiring. Bartenders were great as well and had menu had some several exciting options. Can't wait to head back for dinner.

We had a great lunch at Half Moon Point! We stopped on our way in for the annual shore trip- reservations were a breeze, it was a gorgeous day so we sat outside. Staff was friendly and professional. Our meal: firecracker shrimp (just ok), Surf and Turf Sliders with Sweet Potato Fries (very good), Lobster Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque and French Fries (very good), and cocktails- Beach Peach (excellent...SO good) and Honey Bee (good). Prices were on par for the area and quality. We will return and absolutely recommend.

Following a burial at sea, we found ourselves, a party of 20, arriving at the restaurant an hour earlier than our reservation for an early dinner. The staff was terrific! After speaking with the hostess, we rendezvous at the bar to relax and reflect on the day's event. A very short time passed and we were advised that our table(s) were ready and we could go upstairs. We were ordering from the menu and our server Blair was terrific. Food was delicious. The manager, Kerry, and her staff did a wonderful job for my family and friends as we honored our loved one's wishes to be interred at sea.
I highly recommend this restaurant and when we visit Point Pleasant again will make a point of visiting Half Moon Point!

Had valentines day dinner here, live music playing in the background, food was very good, service was good, very relaxed atmosphere, did not feel rushed at all. Great place to go

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The calamari was perfectly done, as were the brussel sprouts. The ahi tuna tacos were outstanding as well as the scallops.

The food was delicious. Service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean.

First timers. The pork chop was cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back.

Always a great time here!! I’ve been coming here for over a year, usually for football Sunday, however since then still come for the food. The prices are very fair in comparison to the mediocre overprice food at most restaurants. Bartenders are always attentive and great!

Great food. Service by Anna was five stars. Would recommend to all of our friends.

Never a bad experience. Amazing food and always absolutely wonderful service. Get a half pound of shrimp scampi as an appetizer you will not be disappointed and may want to drink the scampi sauce(ask for extra bread to soak it up). It is that good. Filet mignon and market tuna are phenomenal entrees. They also have a pleasant rotating craft beer list.

Food was good. Service was great. Close to the boardwalk so we stopped to eat. Limited parking but there is a small lot.

Excellent food, great Prime Rib Special on Monday nights! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Can't wait to come back.
