Ocean Road Barber Shop

I was in need of a haircut due to a death in the family. I reached out to Melissa at Ocean Road Barber Shop and she was able to get me in at short notice. The atmosphere of the barbershop is relaxing and the staff is friendly. Melissa understood the cut I wanted and was great at making it happen. What I loved most about the experience was everyone in the shop was having fun. You don’t find that in a lot of barbershops anymore. I highly recommend Ocean Road Barber Shop and I am going back on my next trip to Jersey.

first time going today took my son to get his hair cut by sam, and she did an amazing job... she was so good with him. She listened to what he would like and even showed him some pictures of styles.

Then I made an appointment for myself shortly after to do my undercut...

I highly recommend this place is homely clean. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable.

Will be back next week for my design and will be back for good.

Ocean Road Barber Shop is the go-to place for my son and I. Whether we see Sam or Chelsea, we always get great haircuts and a warm welcome when we arrive.
I love the online booking tool. Pick a time, show up and we're in and out so fast. On the occasion I realize I need my haircut before a meeting or event, they have been kind enough to find a spot for me too!

I would give ten stars if I could! As a woman I've had really mixed experiences with barbershops but the folks at Ocean Road Barber Shop were welcoming and made me feel right at home. Samantha did a fantastic job of cutting my hair exactly the way I wanted and the whole thing was *far* cheaper than any salon...with better service! Highly recommend.

Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Came in for a haircut and beard combo and paid just over $30 for it, extremely reasonable. My hair dresser "G" was very kind and gave me expert advice on what beard care products to use. Was a very warm and inviting atmosphere, I will most certainly be back.

Starting coming here as someone who had no idea what to do with my hair, and I was given great ideas which were followed with picture perfect execution and a very friendly staff. It’s my favorite part of every month I couldn’t recommend here enough!!

Ocean Road Barber shop and Bridge Ave Barber shop are the BEST places I've ever been for my hair!! I jumped around for years trying to find a place that had friendly and talented barbers. All the employees really make it a great experience everytime I come to the shop. They make you feel like your part of their family. When I go in I usually tell them to do whatever they want with my hair and I'm always amazed at the quality hair cut I get! I've also seen people really want something very specific and they always get it right! The shop is SUPER clean and it's very easy to make an appointment online which is convenient! Definitely will always be the place I get my hair cut!

I went to Ocean road for the first time today, I had an excellent experience with Tom Barreto. He is very professionally, great communicator, and takes his time to make sure your haircut is above expectations. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him from now on.

How can I describe the level of service and the attention to detail that Chelsea has for each of her clients. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. And the conversations that take place in the shop make it feel even more like your at home. She is always booked so make sure you get an appointment because the goddess of haircuts is on high demand!

This is a great shop and I don’t see myself going anywhere else in the near future. Tom is phenomenal, which is obviously why I’ve run into a couple instances where he was fully booked for a week straight. But those times led me to the other members of the shop, and I discovered that they do a great job as well. No complaints from me.
