Altamont Park

Pretty great! My boys loved it and I enjoyed it too. Panoramic view of the city (would be cool for sunset or sunrise), lush grass, benches to supervise kids from. Only downside, didn't notice any bathrooms. And water fountain is warm at first but then cool. Still, will come again.

Lovely neighborhood park with sweeping city views. Is always clean and with friendly families. Play structures for older and younger kids, picnic tables and a grassy field. It’s one of our fave parks. I love it for the views of the city and Mount St. Helen on a clear day.

This park was gorgeous and so fun! You can see downtown and mountains from up there, pretty cool. And quite warm on a sunny day. The path was a tad mushy to walk there, but it's definitely a place I will be visiting again.

Amazing hidden gem. It has gated around it but it is open to the public.

The sun sets are breath taking here. It's a nice simple park great for all ages! The view of everything especially Mt Saint Helens will make you want to take pictures! Enjoy!

Beautiful grassy area, lovely playgrounds with many slides, picnic tables, and a few trees for shade. Water fountain runs with cool water even in the heat of the day.

Nice park for my 2 year old to play at, pretty nice neighborhood and it's at the top of the Butte so the view on sunny days is amazing!

So open, great structures. A great place for kids maybe a little older than 2, all depends on what parents feel is okay for their own children.

Beautiful scenery! You can sit and have a picnic in the grass and just take in the amazing air. The views are great you can see downtown Portland, the west hills, Vancouver and I think Camas/Washougal. Mountain views are excellent. Great playground for the kiddos

This park has a great view of the city and of the mountains north of town. The playground equipment includes slides, bucket swings, regular swings, and many other fun items. There is also a large field next to the park. I've been several times with my 2 year old and she has a blast. I've also seen many kids in the 6-12 yo range having a good time.

Great few. Love this place. It's my go to park. Always clean.

Want to hear an open secret? This is THE place to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. You literally can see from Vancouver to Beaverton to Oregon City from this view point. You're welcome. Just don't be a terrible person with a terrible family if/when you show up. (Park is nice the rest of the time, too)
