Always busy, but plenty of enthusiastic staff on hand!
Not a lot of gluten free items, so I am limited but I go once a month to stock up as it's a 40.min drive as most of the TJs are on the west side of PDX.
This was the wine they were tasting last weekend. Sooooo good & smooth

They had a wonderful staff. So helpful.. my first time visiting.. and I will definitely come back to this store. Thank you for your wonderful help.

I had not gone to Trader Joe’s in years. Long story short, my husband and I just got back from attending a music festival where unfortunately some lives were lost. It really took a toll on us.
I forgot how it got brought up something about the weather being back during the weekend and we weren’t in Portland to see it. But I just wanted to say how incredibly kind Natalya was. She gave both my husband and I some flowers to bright up our day! You really made our day better! You’re such a kind soul!

Kinda typical Trader Joe's experience but with the caveat that's it's leaps and bounds better than almost any other grocery store or retail store experience, typically. Variety and freshness is like, their middle name. Trader Variety-Freshness Joe

I’m always up for a visit to TJs. Wish it was closer to my home. They always have nice things and unique items. It’s a great place to look for different things. The other fantastic part is they have wonderful meals of the single serve kind.

I have been going to this TJs since 2009. I live between this and the Cesar Chavez location. I love them both. The staff is always great at any TJs, but the staff here has been absolutely amazing. Above and beyond.

When my father had sepsis and was hospitalized for an extremely long time in 2017, the cashier asked how I was and I was truthful. I turned around to get my cart & bags and another staff member handed me flowers. I don't know how they even signaled them, it happened so fast and flawless. I about ugly cried right there.

This is just one of the examples where the staff here has been extremely empathetic and compassionate over time. I would give 10 stars and gold bars if I could. Y'all rock! I've done Cst Service plenty, but I rarely get the service that I would give. I see you. Thank you for your kindness and consistency over the years. You are so appreciated!

Always clean. Always helpful.
Only drawback is they never order enough cat advent calendars each year for their customers.
Samples were plentiful prepandemic. Although I noticed food samples last month.

Traders joes is always awesome. Well stocked. Helpful employees. I have tried many of their Mexican style frozen entrees and have not liked any of them for their flavor. Not bad, just not to my taste.

It's Trader Joe's. There's probably more snacks than real food, or at least that's how I shop when I go there. My biggest complaint is not everything sticks around forever, but hey, it also keeps things interesting.

This was my first time at this location, it was stocked up with so many goodies! My hubby and I left with a huge smile on our faces...when we were going through the checkout, the cashier asked us what else we had going on today and we replied "just going to breakfast and it's our anniversary". Our cashier said "happy anniversary", and within seconds another Trader Joe's employee hands him a bouquet of flowers to him to give to us. What a sweet and thoughtful gesture!!!

I've never found a place so full of happy, helpful people. I'm not just saying that to help them out. It's almost weird, how pleasant they are there, how well they get along. Maybe they're aliens. Haha. It's smaller than the mega stores, so you may not find the variety you might at nearby Freddie's, but what you do find seems to have been carefully vetted. For example, there seems to be very little food here with high fructose corn syrup, if at all. And once I tried to buy Parmesan cheese, only to find a note that said, sorry we've discontinued that for a bit while we find one that isn't full of cellulose as an additive. And they did. That impressed me, that they're looking out for my health that way, without my even knowing it. So yeah, not as much selection, but I find what I need anyway, and some really cool stuff I haven't seen before. Like interesting varieties of chocolate things, fun cookies, chips, international foods, salads, and all kinds of natural things. I feel good shopping there. It cheers me up being around all those happy people, too. Even if they might be from another planet. ^_^

Great customer service and great products = a great neighborhood shopping experience! You just can't go wrong at any Trader Joe's location. It's always a fun and unique shopping adventure!

Fun place to do your shopping. Lots of unique items and non-"mainstream" goods. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Great considering I hadn't really planned to stop. I went to the chiro in the same parking lot. Friendly staff and prices weren't half bad

their gluten free English muffins are quite delicious. gotta toast em though.

This Trader Joe's location is always clean and very well organized. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The flower selection is always fully stocked, fresh, and reasonably priced.

Try the dried persimmon fruit snacks. Amazing.

Always the nicest people working here , and the coworker relationships are awesome always helping each other when needed

For some reason i keep coming back to trader joes. Yup this is the reason the raw cashews that i used to get else where cost me 10 dollars above. But here 7.99. 1pounds, just love it you may call me odd but it's just too good and banana chips too yummy and employee here is always seems so happy. Just one of my favorite store that becoming my go to store too. Check it out you guys might find something amazing or just browsing and maybe try things different. Great value and great employee.

It is wonderful, really wonderful, we just went and we are very satisfied with our purchases, and we got some awesome products under 45$. We also love the friendly staff, fresh produce, inexpensive food products, fun summer themed food ,such as watermelon and dried mangoes. Overall they have delicious and inexpensive food! I would definitely recommend it! 😄😄😄😁😁😁🍉🍉

Always an eclectic selection of gastronomic goodies from around the globe. We normally pop-in 3-4x a week.

We have been shopping here and the 39th Ave (Cesar Chavez) for 25+ years it meets our needs along with visits to Costco. Love the fact that they don't sell GMO food's (or did or claim to, as some of the House brand (that are often national brands with a house label that are less expensive. But considering they also source alot of foods from Europe it makes it easier.

My only complaint is that I will fall in love with a food and it will be discontinued. I also like how the keep the employees happy with good pay and benefits (have lots of friends that work for TJs and so many habe stayed for years and a few have left and returned.
