Meg's Grill

Took the day off for a girls' day with my sister & daughter. We made our way their for breakfast like we always do. Their food is so good & fresh. We sat outdoors to soak in the sun that morning and watched everyone walking by and shopping in the local stores nearby. It's like going home. 🙂

Fantastic food, great service, good portions, fair prices. What more needs to be said?

Came in for breakfast. When you see the fire chief at the counter and 3 cops you know this the right place for good eats.

New visitors to Lavellette and were in search of a place to eat. Asked some people strolling along Grand Central for suggestions. With no hesitation, their recommendation was Meg's Grill. We headed to Meg's where it was a busy Sunday morning. Our wait was very brief. Ambient conversation among patrons and employees was upbeat and casual. Service was great and our meals were excellent. We found the word on the street to be true... go to Meg's grill.

Loved the breakfast. Had eggs, home fries, sausage and french toast. Very good service.Will be back.

Wonderful tasty breakfast. Their home fries are delightfully seasoned. Their pancakes and french toast are great. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.

There was a wait when we got there but we didn't care as they had free coffee for everyone waiting and had games for the kids to play in the small side lawn which was shaded. The service was top notch and the food was really good. It's a great place that I would highly recommend.

Meg’s is truly a gem in Lavallette. Everyone that works here is sweet and wants to see you enjoy yourself for breakfast or lunch. With outdoor dining being the only permitted option in NJ for the time being (aside from takeout), Meg’s has it down to a science. If you’re coming to Lavallette, stop at Meg’s so you have the full Lavallette experience

One of our favorite breakfast places. Always have great- high quality food. Quick service. Clean. Love the aesthetic of the mix ans match chairs. Overall just feel like you’re at a friends house. Very welcoming environment. Just wish they were bigger- If you aren’t there early during the summers you’ll be waiting for awhile.

Had the pork roll, egg, and cheese on a hard roll and it was great. The home fries were just ok but the sandwich and service was excellent.

Went for breakfast in late August, other than the (expected) wait of about 40 minutes, the entire experience was excellent. Even the wait was OK on the sidewalk bench on a beautiful morning. The servers were all friendly and attentive, big, flavor-full portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Before this spring I was at Meg’s a hand full of times. This year we purchased a beach home closer and since we are doing construction work and have no kitchen yet, we have been eating breakfast/ lunch out every weekend. I really have a hard time with the thought of not going to Meg’s. The food is great but what also keeps me coming back is the staff. The service is outstanding. This is like no other place I’ve been. It’s like every waitress is your waitress. They pretty much all tend to every table. If they pass by, everyone will ask if you need anything. They are all very personable and make you feel at home. Even with masks on you can see the service with a smile. Let me not leave out Meg herself. Meg couldn’t be any nicer and so appreciative to have your business. Well done Meg!
