Lo's Garden Chinese & Japanese Restaurant

Visiting the area, I was jonesing for some sushi. I found the right place, and now, so did you! The Salmon Dylamite was great! The fried noodles were worth a trip back on their own. Miso soup?? Very good, generous portion for sure. Philadelphia rolls were fresh. I will be back.

We went here because our usual place was closed. They do have a small dine in area and it was pretty full which is a good sign. We got take out, I drove it home 15 minutes away, and it was still the best Chinese food I've had in NJ. Pretty impressive, I would go out of my way to get food from here.

We have been eating here and taking out for years. The quality of sushi has remained the same throughout this time. Highly recommend for the area.

Homemade hot mustard sauce and free freshly fried wonton strips (as opposed to machine made, stale ones, you know what I mean) with sauce sets this place apart from others.

Superior egg drop and hot&sour soup. None can compete in area of point pleasant and brick.

Fried/Steamed dumplings are not wrapped in the chewy thick dough that you commonly find in other Chinese restaurants. It's worth every bite.

The crab rangoon is cream cheese wrapped in a pastry dough that is amazing.

The boneless ribs are tender and yummy. The cold noodles with sesame sauce is amazingly addictive. The shrimp toast is by far their best appetizer. You will not find a more scrumptious piece of toast.

When they say prawns, you will not get the tiny shrimps, these are huge. Worth every penny.

By far the best Chinese restaurant in Point Pleasant and Brick. For those who complain about their coupons, they used to honor them when it was on their menu. I never had a problem.

The sushi was phenomenal and the other food was good too.

Ate lunch there recently.Delicious,had chicken and eggplant with white rice and choice of soup.

Food was fabulous.
1/2 price sushi at 3:30 pm.
Sushi was delicious, dumplings were excellent. Sesame chicken, as my daughter would put it, "was fire".
Staff was very sweet.
Also had beef and broccoli and shrimp and chicken with garlic sauce which was yummy.

They have to be the best Chinese food around.
We eat there once a week, the food is always good and fast to be served.

I don't know why the ratings are so low. I've been going to Lo's for DECADES and always found the food to be delicious and the staff very nice, in person or on the phone ( I order everything by phone) there's one lady who has a problem with English, but so do some of my friends that were born here ( you know who you are). The only time I ever order Chinese from another place is when Lo's is closed.

Best dumplings around. The regular ones are great and the spicy sechuan dumplings are fantastic. They are the best dumplings around. The hot & sour soup is also really good. The rest of the food in my opinion is mediocre. But don't let that stop you... Have a dumpling party.

Good egg rolls! My two year old and I tear them up. They’re a little pricey for regular Chinese food. ..Being honest. However, times are tough. I take care of the delivery guy and I don’t have it so I understand .

Anywho, try their mango Mochi! By the way. Pretty much everything we’ve had from them was really good!!Super nice drivers too.

PS: they give a good enough amount of fortune cookies-they’re so random but funny AF.

Not your TYICAL Chinese take out! Very food food and fresh, the sushi here is TOP NOTCH and can be recommended as one of the BEST sushi places in the town. If you have not had sushi from this hidden gem yet I suggest you try it out. The staff is nice and the place is super clean, the owner is local and she is well known.

Great food... even better prices. Servers were attentive without being annoying. Miso soup was great. I had broccoli with garlic sauce.. Best I have ever had and that is all I ever get from Asian restaurants. My boyfriend had a beef negimaki bento box. He loved it except the shrimp tempura had too much breading on it. We will be back!

Always excellent service from friendly staff, been going here for 20 years since I was a wee baby, never a problem or lack of flavor/quality in food. Great dining environment and aesthetic that's gotten better over the years as well.

Unbelievably fresh and delicious every single time I eat here.. even my 6 dollar lunch special is amazing.... ive been to china town on the east coast and west coast and this rivals any... eat and enjoy!!!!

I've just started going here for a few months , and when I order it ranges from calling for a pick up,delivery or in person order and Never had a problem with food or staff . Food is ready in 15-20min . The general tso chicken is amazing ,definitely try !!!
