A neighborhood staple.

I’ve grown up coming down to the Jersey shore and Petey’s has always been my go-to for breakfast sandwiches. Great food, great prices, great portions, great management. One of those food spots that has remained very consistent over the years.

Pictured below is their famous pork roll egg and cheese with home fries. A classic.

Arguably the best subs in the area. The meat is sliced when you order, the breads are soft but don't fall apart, and the taste is everything you want from a sub shop. On top of that, the prices are amazing for the sheer sizes of the subs. You can't go wrong.

Friendly staff and excellent food!

Been going here for years! The portions on their sandwiches are nice and big and everything tastes great! Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast sandwich or a nice hot or cold sub, they do it all right!

If you're not from the Jersey, this is THE place to go for a perfect pork roll, egg, and cheese and a couple of subs on your way to the beach!

This was my first time ordering subs...I ordered 3 subs and all 3 were absolutely awesome. They were huge and each had significant weight to them. They were packed with fresh and delicious ingredients and the bread was the best I've had in a long time! Everyone I was with raved about how great these subs were! The staff was as always, friendly and personable. I highly recommend Petey's! I'll definitely be back for more!

There is not enough gear things I can say about this wonderful little spot! The subs are the best! I prefer a sandwich . Then you get Mac or potato salad, chips and a pickle. Ok, now I'm just getting hungry. I know where I'll be for lunch tomorrow. If you're in the area, make sure they're open and have a sub or sandwich

Hands down the best Subs/Food in Town. Petey and Staff are super nice and always go out of their way to make sure You leave a satisfied Customer. I bought 2 Whole Subs recently and swear they must have weighed about 10lbs. If you're hungry this is the only Place to go without question. Got my mom a half turkey and provolone sandwich, potato salad and bag of chips $15.13. Who said inexpensive? The service was quick and friendly. Mom said the sandwich was good. I live down the street on Delaware, so the location is convenient but c'mon, it's a sandwich...

Update:. The owner is good to their word and took care of Mom and the mistake when she returned. A very reputable business.

We used Petey's for catering the morning of our wedding in Point Pleasant for breakfast and lunch as we were getting ready. They were super easy to work with and delivered everything on time. The food was great and came hot. Everyone loved the chicken fingers!

Blows Jersey Mikes and any other sub shop away. Used to live in Jersey but now reside in Vermont and can't get a good sub. A must stop when in NJ. Their Taylor ham & egg is also the best. I would give them ten stars if possible.

I love Petey's breakfast sandwiches! The roast beef and provolone is also great. Wish they had soup year round though.

First let me explain how I became a customer at Petey's. When the pandemic hit, I went to St.Mary's for food pantry. One of their resources was Petey's. The woman from the church said order the St.Mary's sub. This small restaurant rushed to aid their community with what they did best, subs! Everyone at Petey,s was so friendly, so kind, such big smiles and wouldn't even let me leave a tip. A large hand covered the tip jar and said when we are all back on our feet.
True kindness and the helping of their fellow man! Bravo Petey's Bravo!

Whoa, what a treasure this place was this morning! We hit the dawn patrol for a surf-off in Bay Head, NJ at daybreak and came out of the ocean starving! A local dude who we surf with suggested Petey's as a "sure thing"--indeed, 'twas! Super huge and tasty sandwiches, very nice people making them and serving them up! What a treasure for us NYC surfer/sojourners!

Most amazing subs ever! Huge, super stuffed with meat and cheese. Great sub rolls. We drive hours to eat at Pete’s!

US Subs BY FAR is the best place for a sub if you want a sandwich that will fill you up! I was afraid that when it changed ownership the subs would get skimpy. NOPE... Still the best sub in NJ!!!!
