Windward Beach Park

What I'd call, another hidden gem in NJ. (At least I was unaware of it until today)

The park is absolutely beautiful, it's HUGE. There's parking, handicap included, closer to the kids playground area and then parking further down closer to the water.
It seemed like there were some walking/hiking paths and dogs were everywhere!
The beach itself was a little smaller but you are unable to swim in it anyway and it didn't seem like it got too busy where overcrowding was an issue. We'll see come summer though!

The rocks and weathered glass we found was gorgeous and were ample.

Playground area: There were two play areas-one for younger kids, and one for children I'd say that are 3 and up with a little library across the street.

Other amenities: There were bathrooms, 3 horseshoe rows(closer to the parking lot across from the children's play area), and picnic tables(although they weren't out yet).

I loved it here and can't wait to come back already!

This park is wonderful. The playground is very nice and well kept. They have many options for small and bigger kids. Restrooms are clean. The park overlooks a beach area which is beautiful. Through summer they have the farmers market on Saturdays which is really nice. Great place to pack a picnic they have tables. Very enjoyable area kids are always happy when we come to this park.

Such a beautiful place there is a lot of picnic tables and the park is so much fun then you have the grass field great to play some soccer and then comes the beautiful beach kids loved it, then comes the the best part the beautiful sunset so beautiful to watch as the day goes by.

Wonderful park! The photos folks have uploaded here really don’t do it justice. There’s a great big playground, beach, fishing dock, field, and beautiful views of the bay. And the Saturday morning farmers market is huge, high-quality, and the produce is actually quite affordable for the most part.

Pretty park recently updated...great spot for Brick Festivals and Markets. It's clean and has something for everyone. There's a nice little beach in summer -good for kids afraid of ocean waves. There's a playground and well maintained restrooms. Brick PD is visible often so it's safe too. It's dog friendly and most people are very good about curbing their pets.

This is a great hidden gem. The place has a beach and playground for kids. The highlight is the fishing fiers. It is a great place for crabbing and fishing. A great place to bring your family. Just buy some chicken drums, tie them on a long string about 25', drop the chicken in the water and leave it. Pull them up slowly occasionally to check, if there is crabs, scoop them up with a net while the crab is close to the surface of the water. Make sure your net is extra long at least 15'. Also make sure you only keep crabs that is meeting the size requirements, which is 5" end to end.

Great park. A ton of play equipment and things for the kids to do. They have restrooms, which are just okay, not the best kept, picnic benches, a gazebo, parking is easy, great views, and you can access the river. The only complaint I have is that there is no shade on the actual play equipment. It gets VERY hot in the summer or early fall.

Super fun afternoon. This park is accessible for all ability levels. The beach is awesome and the concerts on Thursdays are fun.

Really pretty park with a clean beach little walking trails a nice dock and picnic tables on a lush green lawn.

1st time there in probably 10yrs.& wonderfully surprised to see the area so cleaned up both water and land. Warm water, no jellies 🙄😆 Blue skies…Great day & will return.

What a great fun park on the water. Clean fun and safe. More to do here then any other local park.

Grew up going here! Such a peaceful place for a nice walk or enjoy the farmers market on Sunday! Festivals here are amazing!

Best fireworks ever on the 4th of July. So much to do here, beach, park, playground for kids. Farmers market every Saturday. Fireworks on Thursday. Great music in the summer time. This place is a hidden gem in Brick. Does not disappoint.

Great play areas. I love that there are three. One is wheelchair friendly (with modified swings), one is for ages 2-5 (my 14 month old loved it) and one giant one is for big kids. Nice open layout so kiddos can run.
