Not sure why anyone would say this small green area is good for children
It is however perfect as a rest stop where one can pullover to check GPS text or call while traveling. No facilities for water or toilet use. Currently it's in need of mowing and pest killing (mosquitoes)
Police use it to catch speeders on 70
Be aware also of the rough roadway surface and potholes WWE q¹

No trash cans, discarded trash all over, grounds are not cared for. Road is also in extremely poor condition.
