Gary's Wine & Marketplace

Gary's has been my 'go to' place for many years. They are reliable, available, courteous, knowledgeable and have a tremendous selection. If they don't have it ,they will try (usually successfully) to get it.
Their sale items are of the highest quality and if you sign up for free deliveries (I think it is now $99/year) they will deliver unlimited cases of your wine by FedEx.

5 star service and selection.

We enjoy this store on a regular basis since they opened in Closter. We always receive personal attention from the staff. Alex is always helpful and knowledgeable, reliably helps us select that special bottle of wine:-)
Someone is always willing to help carry a box of wine to the car!

Can’t say enough good things about Gary’s. Delivery was quick and easy and their private pick of four roses OESO being in stock made my holiday season. Forever grateful to them.

I think Gary's offers very fair prices and is a staple of the town. The store offers a wide selection of beer/wine/whiskey and the staff are always so helpful. I always check Gary's first for my liquor needs before going elsewhere.

Always great hard to find selections and superb service. Pricing is better than average, and they ship very quickly and safely. Happy to be a many times return customer.

Order online....30 minutes later show up at Garry's my case is waiting at front desk ......what's better than that, no standing in-line just a "Thank you very much and I'm on my way "

Deliveries are always accurate and prompt. Return policy is excellent and consistent. They also have great wines at competí prices and also with depth, so if you like a wine, they usually have multiple cases in stock so you can buy more.

It is always a pleasure to wine shop at Gary's. The personnel are helpful and Larry, among others, is extremely knowledgeable. If I need advice, he's my "go to guy." The young people who work there are also always pleasant.

The collection is generally very good. There are some obvious concentrations, but they happen to be the kinds of wines I prefer, so we're golden.

Again, the main attraction besides the products, is the personnel. Nothing beats customer service.

Incredibly easy ordering and delivery process. Order placed on a Sunday after 5 was delivered before noon on Monday. Excellent communication and Gary’s selection is always outstanding.

Every time I visit, it seems to be near closing.
I'll try to do better, but I must say that the personnel are very pleasant and efficient.
The store is large, clean, and full of fun things.
Someday, when I get there with enough time to wander, I will.

Great selection, great service and great prices.

I wanted to get a case of wine as a gift for a friend who ‘s wine palate is much more sophisticated than my own. The person who helped me on the phone took great pains to pick a good mix of wines in my price range. My friend was thrilled when the gift-wrapped package of wines was delivered to her door, and she said several were among her favorites. I didn’t know it when I picked Gary’s from the web, but it is actually the wine store where my friend does all of her wine shopping. She’s very discriminating, so that, in itself, is a great recommendation.
