Was trying to find the right bolt size for my car and they let me try multiple until I found the right size! They all were super helpful!

Yesterday on the hottest day of the year, the fuses on our A/C condenser blew. I arrived at Hometown Hardware 10 minutes after their closing time just as two store workers were leaving. The gentleman in the NY Giants baseball cap said we are closed but what do you need. I explained and he said, how can I not try to help you on the hottest day. They reopened the store, I purchased the fuses and the A/C was back working and the family was cool.

Thank you Hometown Hardware in Closter - kind neighborhood store. Keep them in business. I don’t think the big box stores would have shown such care for a neighbor.

Two thumbs up from me. This place saved my day more than just a few times. All the staff I talked to were very helpful and professional. Obviously this is not a big-box store like Home Depot or Lowe's, but they had what I needed every time.

I go to hometown hardware a lot, but my last visit I had to comment on. I needed to get a smoke detector for my rental apartment. Upon speaking with the store representative, they said they heard that the rules on fire extinguishers in rentals had changed. So they suggested I purchase one but don't open it in case I was good and I could just return it. The inspector agreed with their recommendation and I saved the time of the inspector by having the correct equipment. I also saved my time too!

Recently visited this store and found great help locating what I needed. They were willing to order if they didn’t have, but we found it! So very helpful and good prices to boot! I’ll definitely be back!
