Lakehurst Commissary

A small commissary located on the base has a decent selection of different brands we all crave. Due to the small amount of Military onboard seems more like a mini mart. Fresh fruit, frozen goods and canned food. Staff was friendly and busy on our visit.

Good prices but very small store not a lot of variety.

A smaller facility for sure, but for it's size it has a fairly decent selection of commonly used groceries. The manager is fantastic along with the entire staff, very helpful. Prices have risen slightly recently and you need to be a "comparison shopper" to get the best savings on most items except meats and dairy. Meat selection is very good and the prices are much lower than off-base, dairy also. Although there is a 5% surcharge on purchases, it's still cost effective aginst off-base stores.

Retired military person, love the store. Not that many people and the selection and saving is great.😊

Not too big; not too small. Everyone is so friendly here! This just might be my weekly grocery stop from now on.🙂

I buy foods here and make into other food to eat so that I can live and not be hungry. They have pineapple for 2.99$ pineapple tastiest fruit to eat and healthie.

The best employees....Someone always ask if you need any help in finding what you need...I truly enjoy shopping there..today I had cashier #113....Very very pleasant along with the baker #2....

Surprised by the selection for a smaller commissary...just make sure you check the dates before you put something in your cart.

Nice little commissary that had many things arranged in an organized fashion making a quick shopping trip easy for us.

Small but great quality and selection. Staff very friendly and helpful.
