I am a sammich lover... I will put anything on a sammich. I've had many, from many places. But this place is my absolute Fave! Seriously... the bread is so soft a fresh its like I'm eating clouds made of Parmigiano cheese!

I have only ordered via doordash but the sandwiches are so good! It's worth the extra fees. I get "The one" regular sized sandwich with Salami (add jalepenos, add cheddar, add salt n pepper) and their potato salad and soup of the day and split it with my husband and it's so yummy. The sandwich is filling and full of crunchy yummy-ness. They use way too much meat so I always remove some but that's easy to do. Their soup of the day is always good. Chicken noodle soup once and Italian wedding soup another day which was extra good. Yum.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff at big town hero 🤲 for the amazing customer service, for allowing us to place big orders the same day for our weekly orientation. The fresh bread and fresh ingredients is top tier . I highly recommend coming here for yourself or to order lunch for your company.

Great sandwich shop! It was amazing. I had the americano panini and my bread was fresh, cooked perfectly. Also, if you sit in the back you can be served by the little lady... the robot not me.
I have been back since and had the Italian on the garlic bread, and it was epic, however I discovered that a large is too much for me. It was sooooo good though. Love the service and the options. Highly recommend.

Best sandwiches in town , the breads they use are the best

The best sub sandwich I have eaten in a long time. The turkey bacon avocado is superb! I added pickles and Dijon mustard, so delicious! You won't be disappointed.

Staff was friendly (it was actually the owner.) Sammy was delicious. Decent amount of meat. 🤤 But the bread.... Was amazing! The bread was the absolute star here. It was pillow-y soft. They even sell the bread separately. A whole loaf for $3! It's sold looking sort of like French bread, except soft instead of crusty.

A "regular" size was "true to size" for one person. Cost me $9.50 for just a sandwich, which I thought was a bit expensive, but when I learned the bread is fresh baked everyday, it makes sense. Ima NYer and I truly miss a good sandwich. We put WAY too much meat on our sandwiches and I havta say... I like it that way. This was somewhat akin to that with a bit less meat. I'd probably just say I'd like a bit more toppings, but it was simply delicious. I'd absolutely rather come here than Subway. Support this small business today!!

I had the BLT. Probably one of the better sandwiches that I've had in a long time.

Made a takeout order for 6. They got it done quickly and no mistakes even though each sandwich was customized in some way. Also by far our favorite sub place!!

I've been here about 6 or 7 times and I've never been disappointed. I order a different sandwich each time, even the "mini" is a decent sized sandwich. It's some of the best bread I've ever had. The guy who runs the place definitely makes you feel like he appreciates your business.

Most delicious panini I have had in a long time with lots of Italian style sandwich meat in it,and the fantastic panini bread with it!Will definitely go there again!

That's my first time I ever ate there me and my old man and you know what we really like the sandwich they tasted really good and we liked it we will be back and the staff members are really nice we were talking and having a conversation and they were polite

Such fresh good sandwhiches! The girl working the front was SO sweet and helpful. I had my 11 month old with me and she brought my food, and offered to carry my Togo food to the table for me too! Good experience! Will be going back!

Never had a bad experience here. Sandwiches are always fresh and delicious, the employees are very friendly and I’ve never had an order messed up or an issue with custom orders. Easily the best sub shop in the area

I've been going every Tuesday and every time I enjoy a very good sandwhich. Fills me up and doesn't make me feel tired like subway. Defiently better than subway since they know more freshness than subway. Enjoy that they walk it out to you weather you're eating there or not.

I adore Big Town Hero, I've been coming to them for over 10 years. This is the last one I know of in Portland and I drive out here from Clackamas just for the food. It's always super fresh and tasty, 10x's better than subway. I love this place!!

Always great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I tried the new Chipotle chicken and it was soo good! Ate it so fast I didn't get a picture.

Have been going since I was a little boy. Love the prime panini. Just a shame there are no paninis listed on their doordash menu, but their regular sandwiches are so good, I can't complain! Hope this place is open when I have kids, can't wait to bring them in.

I ordered on Uber Eats a few times from here, and food is always great. No complaints
