Rocio's Mexican Restaurant

Delicious. We really enjoyed the salsa, guacamole, Shrimp Enchiladas and Chicken Mole. Everything was super tasty, the beer ice cold, and fast friendly service. Recommend!

We saw to go orders packed in Styrofoam clamshells and wish the owners would consider an eco-friendly alternative.

Came to celebrate our Dad’s 86th birthday! We all enjoyed trying a new place. Food was delicious, fresh and drinks were enjoyed as well. A special Cherro for my Dad was shared. Thank you for making the afternoon extra special.

Rocio's is an incredible gem of a Mexican food experience, not limited to the quality of the food itself (which is the best for miles around per my Portland native experience), but also due to the environment created by the family run staff as well. If it's busy, it might take longer than a fast-food experience, but you feel like family and are afforded all the attention a family dinner might include, such as the owner himself (who works in the kitchen and maintains the quality himself) stopping by to ask for your personal review of your order and then advising you on the perfect tequila paring. It's rare to taste such authentic Mexican cuisine that also leaves you feeling refreshed by the clean ingredients that tempt you to order more, instead of feeling bloated by cheap cheese etc. I can't recommend enough that you give them a try, nachos are amazing, taco plates are my favorite, and the happy hour margaritas will not disappoint! Prove me wrong if you dare, but I can't find comparable Mexican food in a 30 minute driving radius!

So fresh and delicious! The chips are warm and crisp, the salsa is amazingly flavorful, the sauce in the burrito is phenomenal, the enchiladas are perfectly mouth watering, and even the black beans are cooked perfectly! The server was especially kind, and the owner was genuinely friendly. Excellent dining experience! Highly recommended.

My sister and I came here during happy hour. Their $6 happy hour margs are very delicious and on the heavy side of pour (I like that). The food was fantastic, I was eating my tacos in 2 bites. That’s how good it was. 10/10 experience! Next time I’m in Portland I am eating here

Food was delicious. We tried the seasonal special—the mole. It was delicious. The chips and house salsa were perfect. The queso is amazing. Fajitas were sizzling and delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Love this place! Friendly service and tasty food. Loved the chile relleno combo and the salad with shrimp is also delicious. My partner enjoyed the carne asada. Yummy margs too.

Had a ‘Board member’ dinner. They were organized, responsive and great to work with. We had dietary restrictions and they were great about accommodations. The food was really good and everyone raved about the margaritas. I would work with them again.

Very good Mexican food. A wide variety to choose from, everything was authentic, and staff were extremely accommodating. We even help them create a new drink that all the staff loved. Thank you for an awesome evening.

I tried this place a couple of times when they first opened and I thought the food was just horrible. But apparently they changed ownership in May so I decided to try it out again and it was excellent! The food was very good, the cocktails were made with care and spot on and the service was amazing! I live just right around the corner and I will definitely be a regular now.

Just found this place and it's sooo good! Great service and good prices. We had brunch and will definitely be back to try more. The rest of the menu is huge! Tons of different Tequila's and drink choices from the bar.

The family was on a road trip from Seattle to LA and we broke the journey in between at Portland Oregon. We were hungry and wanted to eat some tasty mexican spicy food. My son searched for this place and although it was a bit inside from I5, we were glad we went to Rocio’s.

The restaurant is located in a residential area but it was very cozy, Very warm very welcoming, on a cold rainy day. Kenny, the Manager was welcoming gave us hot Corn chips with salsa and when i asked for extra spicy salsa, he obliged and gave us one that was really really spicy. We added guacamole to the appetisers list, and then all four of us ordered individual dishes for ourselves.

Me and my daughter ordered the carne asada and chicken combo burrito, which was dry, spicy and hot. You add guacamole and some of the spicy salsa, it was a meal worth remembering. Yum, Yum!!

My wife had Shrimp Diablo, with the spicy sauce and my son had the carne asada tacos. Each one of us completely demolished the plate, and we are not sure if it was because we were hungry or because the food was that tasty. My wife also had the margarita, the classic one and she really enjoyed it. And she has a high bar for margaritas. All in all a great place to visit, have a chat with Kenny, the manager, and enjoy really good well-made fresh Mexican food.

I had the carnitas chimichanga and my partner had the California burrito. Both (and the margaritas we had) were delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. It has a nice warm vibe and I'd definitely recommend this place!

Always able to accommodate my vegetarianism. Very nice staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Good drinks and specials. Outdoor seating is available. Good COVID awareness. Cozy little place. Sidewalk tables with umbrellas. Spacious indoor seating.

Love this place and what I love is that I am walking distance. I always order the same burrito (ultimo) every time I visit Rocio’s, it’s my favorite 😍 I have tried other foods from Rocio’s that my family has order and it’s amazing. If you are ever in the area and want to try something new, stop by and try Rocio’s.

PERFECT drinks, food and service! It really sucks walking out a place with bad drinks and bad food with a bill for $68.99 feeling like you were ripped off and didn’t even catch a buzz or get good food. The food 10/10 here and drinks 10/10. I’m coming back often and hopefully it’s always like this 🙏🏼 🔥
