A top notch used book store! You could spend hours perusing the wonderful selection of books. Mr. Rose has a good bar for condition of the books, and he prices fairly. He's also friendly and helpful throughout the shopping process. Definitely stop in.

Wonderful neighbourhood bookstore. I found a number of very good historical works there, by academic publishers, at reasonable prices. The owner, Mr Howard Rose, is helpful and very funny. He has his photo up as “employee of the month” and assured me that every staff member voted. He’s the sole employee.

If any place was a door to a different dimension it would be here. Every time I come here I find books on the topics I'm looking for, and always priced where I can afford it. I love this bookstore

Awesome small book store. You’ll find all sorts of great old and new books at a great price. The owner is an old timer but very cool. Will definitely visit again.

Brier Rose is a wonderful bookstore full of amazing finds including rare/antique books, new releases and everything in-between.

The store is well organized and the proprietor is quintessentially what you want in a bookkeeper: knowledgeable, genuine, funny, and a great conversationalist!

went here the other day and bought 3 books for $5!! as a student who loves books, this place is a gem :) there are all kinds of books and even has a $1 section. the books are kept in a great condition. the owner keeps an amazing environment, he gave me a tour and was very welcoming. just make sure you bring
cash!!!

What a wonderful bookstore! The owner is friendly, helpful, and generally enchanting. I enjoyed chatting with him about books, book care, and random stuff. Aside from the neat quirks of the proprietor, the quaintness and eclectic nature of the store is simply pleasant.

I purchased four J.R.R. Tolkien books for a more than reasonable $15. I think I'll be a regular.

I honestly left this place speechless. Beautiful place with so many books and the man who works there was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, eager to talk to you about your finds. I was blown away by the affordable pricing, I had never seen such a great bookstore so cheap. The nice man told me how he likes to put out otherwise expensive books for so cheap to catch people’s eyes. I also told him to keep the change, 15 cents or so, and he insisted I take it. Clearly an incredible person running a beautiful store. One of my favorite places ever, thank you sir.

Brier Rose books is a gem. There is a great variety of books available, and it is such a treat to spend time perusing the shelves. The owner is kind and helpful but generally leaves you alone. I've pleasantly discovered a few books br browsing in addition to finding those oldies that I've been wanting to read for ages.

I love, love, love this place! When you enter the store, it feels like you've been transported to a different time, world and era. Thousands of books ranging from vintage (1800s) to Stephen King. Owner is a nice guy with a lot of knowledge and stories to share. I got a handful of $1 paperbacks from here. Very good deal and tons of options to choose from. Highly recommended place for all bookworms.
