Annapurna Indian Grocery

Bought fresh whole salmon a week or so ago - price is good and tasted very good when I finally got around to cooking it. This place has Indian food items, especially those from Kerala. Staff is also good

We had them cater food for an event this past weekend. I was surprised my guests were going back for seconds even thirds. Only have many compliments of how tasty the food and drinks were. Can't wait to order from them again. Don't let the grocery store fool you. Its a great place to buy groceries as well as cooked authentic Indian food!

I have not been back here since before the pandemic, and it hasn't changed much. There's nothing fancy about this little indopak bodega, but chances are you'll find the spices and sauces you need to prepare your meal, along with your own meats and vegetables. Annapurna is well stocked relative to its small space.

I just moved to town and am trying to get aquatinted with the area. The shop owner here is so friendly, I would recommend going here just because they treat you right. However, by doing so, I discount the fact that the prices are unbeatable. If you need any kind of spices for cooking, okra, Curry leaves, onion, you know, Indian foods... You just can't beat the prices. Go here. You won't regret it :)

This is a small Indian grocery store. Has all the essentials. Parking is easy. While all the brands you may want may not be available - you can find everything that you need. In this area, this is a good store to have. A time saver - beats driving all the way to Edison or Jersey City or elsewhere. Parking is easy.

This is a great place for Malayali food. Their beef, chicken and biriyani dishes have typical Kerala taste. Fish mappas ( made with coconut curry) is great as well.
It is a small store with a good kitchen. The person at the register was friendly and helpful. He is not as efficient as could be especially about time. They have freshly made banana chips. Those are phenomenal. Just getting the banana chips alone is worth it. I didn't do grocery shopping there.

First Place that comes to my mind when thinking about purchasing Indian stuff. They not only sell Groceries, they also have a small kitchen where you can get very tasty and hygienic South Indian food (take away) for very nominal rates. For the folks who like getting Indian fishes (frozen and at times fresh), Annapurna is your place. And, if you are looking for some Indian utensils (including Indian Earthen ones), Annapurna is the place.
People there are really helpful and friendly, be it the person at the counter or the person in the kitchen. However crowded it is, they will attend you and will assist you in finding things if you do not find it.

I recently discovered Annapurna and have been very pleased with the food and service. The samosas are delicious. I’ve brought them to my church and yoga class and they’re a big hit.

I have been a very happy customer for years, both for groceries and takeout food. Sambar, Avial and chana masala are my favorites! Call ahead and they will have everything ready to pick up.

Every Indian spice and specialty item that you could think of, they have. Amazing what's crammed into every nook and cranny. Fun to walk through all of the narrow aisles, and discover all of the unusual foods there.

My experience buying grocery from here is very nice. We always purchased grocery from this store when we stayed in hackensack. I always found what I need and I liked the food which they sell at back and also from their restaurant beside. Their idli wada uthapam and meals are very delicious and very reasonably charged . The owner may be weak in English but is a very good person. I am not a maliyali but never faced any problem asking for anything, they always understood what I meant and gave me what I asked them for. He and his wife have been very kind to us. They close around 8pm if I remember right , but when they got to know that I was pregnant even after locking the doors when they saw me they always opened the store for me out of kindness. I remember even in cold winters and during snow he opens the lock for me and allowed me to buy my grocery. I usually don't write reviews but this is the only way I can thank them for their kindness.

This place helps south Indian specially keralites to find their foodie items and specific vegetables. A conventional store running for years. Their food take away is really great and you can even order lunch or dinner box for 7-8 $ range. For Batchelor it's a great place to find quick home kerala or indian food.

So thrilled to have just discovered this Indian grocery store, with lots of spices, and some bulk vegetables and fruits. Very nice selection of specialty foods, and nice service.

Very nice people that run this place. They have every thing you need. They also make fresh snacks like plantain chips and Vada onsite.

Great Indian grocery store. Visited it for the first time and was happy to find most of the daily use grocery and spices.

Delicious Samosas. Bought 10 today. Will go back again for more.
