Cedar Market

Best fresh fruits and veggies in town (love the precut stuff!), great selection of fresh meat, sushi, and all the grocery items I need! My only feedback is that I sometimes wish you carried gift items like candy trays and Zaide's challah. Thank you for carrying Pizza Girl sauces! Thank you for being such a fantastic store!

This was a good visit, they had everything I wanted. Even plastic serving spoons for only 99c.

Always fresh food and good customer service

Always a great experience when I shop there. The produce presentation is great, all the fruits and vegetables look fresh and amazing. They manage to have all the kosher products you are looking for. Love the products from Israel as well. The meat, chicken, veal are very fresh as well. They carry just about the entire line of plant base meat. Keep it up.

Great place to shop, fantastic place to work!

I first had the opportunity to work at Cedar Market at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, when my school was closed. I was only about 18, and I was a little nervous working at a store for the first time. The first thing I saw when I came to the store was how friendly and kind the manager and all the employees were. David Bodner and Donny welcomed me warmly, took time to show me what I was supposed to do, and reassured me that they were available if I had any questions.

The store was very busy at that time since it was the Passover season, and my job was to stand at the door and make sure the store didn't get too busy to protect the safety of our customers. Yossi Hollander, the owner of the store, personally came over to me and thanked me for working for him. He told me that me being at the door helped the entire store run smoothly, and how grateful he was for working for him. It really made me feel so good to hear that from the owner.

The atmosphere in Cedar Market was very positive, and all the workers were very happy and enjoyed working there. I often saw Oscar - the manager - go over to employees and kindly ask them how they were doing and how everything was going. I was always paid on time, and I felt I was very well compensated for my work.

Taking care of the customers and making sure they have a good shopping experience is very important to the staff at Cedar Market. All the food there is very fresh and high quality, and customer service is very important. I was downstairs many times and I saw that the area where they prepare the sushi and the freshly cut produce was very clean and organized. Many times I saw workers spend time going to the stockroom to check for customers if we had something in stock that wasn't on the shelves yet. There was always someone at the customer service desk that was available to help customers with any returns or questions that they have. I often shopped orders for customers that sent in shopping lists for us to fulfill and deliver. I was told that if there was anything on the list that we didn't have in stock or if there was any time that I wasn't clear what item the customer wanted, I should make an effort to call the customer to clarify what they wanted or to see if we can offer a replacement product.

Covid-19 was a different time for everyone - especially grocery stores - and I can personally attest to the care and dedication all the staff at Cedar Market had to protect their employees and customers, and at the same time make sure everyone had an easy, pleasant shopping experience. I really enjoyed my time working there, and it is definitely a store I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, quality kosher grocery store.

I love this store and have been a loyal customer since they opened. they have awesome sales, the produce is amazing and well-priced, the bakery is yummy, butcher is great (love the marinated and stuffed roasts) and it is truly a one-stop shopping experience. the customer service is phenomenal and i am addicted to the sushi which is also a great price. you will love shopping here!

I shop often at Cedar Market. It is immaculate, well-stocked, and for Kosher food, prices are very good. I especially like their fresh sushi, and baked goods. My wife and son like their poultry (I don't eat meat). They are very helpful and friendly and have great (long) hours. Hope it's successful.

I love Cedar Market for so many reasons! The ease of parking, the cleanliness of the store, the incredible produce, meat, fish and bakery selections. The sushi is awesome! The thing that I appreciate the most is the friendly, attentive staff, everyone who works there is smiling and willing to help - what a pleasure!

I love shopping at Cedar Market. I love that I can go to one store and get all my groceries and know that I am getting quality food at a good price. Cedar Market has instantly become my favorite grocery shopping destination. They have the best kosher butcher you'll ever meet, an insane spread of super fresh – and mind you affordable – produce, and of course quality sushi with an always-available 2-for-3 deal. I can't recommend this place enough.

Cedar Market is the best food store! We buy all of our food there and it is always fresh and delicious. I have never had a complaint! Knowing that Cedar Market is in our community always makes me feel happy and at home. I love Cedar Market!

Cedar Market makes my favorite grocery store sushi. I bought some today. But please go back to the other brand of soy sauce. I didn't like this at all.

Cedar Market is a great place to shop, especially if you keep kosher. There are always great sales, plentiful fresh produce, and just everything the kosher consumer needs. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and there is lots of parking!

Great deals, lines at cashier aren't usually too long. Good store made salami. Parking can get a little crazy but it's like that at every kosher store in this area.

The best place in town or in the Metropolitan area. I always shop there. Love the freshness on the meat, quality of people that work there and how knowledgeable they are and the most amazing Sushi ever! Keep it up!

We do our weekly shopping at Cedar Market. It' s great being able to get all our food needs in one place - fresh produce and kosher meat, delicious baked challah and a wide variety of groceries. There is always plenty of helpful staff around if you need any help. We love shopping there!!

Even during the pandemic these guys still manage to keep the store in excellent condition. Helpful staff. Good selection and quality.
