Stop & Shop

The store is a bit outdated compared to other stop and shop stores but I do like that it isn’t crowded like some other stores. They have a delivery and pick up available for customers to simplify things more. The store is absolutely clean and spacious.

This store is fantastic !!! I was working in the area and stopped in. It has so many products I've never seen in other Stop & Shops. I took my time and walked through each aisle. I saw a clean, bright and wonderfully executed store. Hats off to everyone involved here, a really nice shopping experience.

I love this store and have great relationship w/ all the staff wtbE. 274th. I travel via 2 buses and a pretty long walk couple times a month depending on the sales and availability. Had a bad experience with store security which almost caused me to never shop there again but the company apologized and after few weeks I returned. Never received an apology from the security company but haven’t seen the guy and I’m fine shopping there. Again, store is very well run and feels like your local family grocery rather than a chain store.

A pleasure tobshop there. Michael is always the highlight of my trip.

Place is always clean. The hot food is really good. They need to improve on stock. I always have to go to another store because they never have all the items I want.

Stop & Shop is one of the grocery stores at which I can purchase, under a benefit of my Medicare replacement health insurance policy, healthy food items, O-T-C medicines and such for free, up to a total of $75 per quarter. Different insurance companies might have a different set of items that are eligible. Items like V-8 but not cookies might be a simple example of a range of items purchasable under such plans - check with your insurance company.
This store at American Legion Drive in Teaneck, NJ has a large, usually non-hectic parking lot, and is off the main streets of Cedar Lane and a few blocks from River Road (take North Street east for maybe 3 stop signs).
The store always seems to run smoothly and from my experiences there, the customer service people are very helpful. You can get lottery tickets. I am not sure if they still sell cigarettes because I don't ever think about cigarettes anymore. I quit smoking after 44 years, in 1 day at home, 11 years ago after a week stay in the hospital for breathing problems; my lungs have fully recovered. I suggest you quit smoking, it will likely be the best decision of your life.
As most large grocery chains, this store has the full set of food items, including a bake shop and a deli.

Store has many items that we love at reasonable price. They keep it clean, fresh. Definitely worse driving few extra miles to it.

This Teaneck stop and shop has the friendliest cart attendant ever. He is truly a nice man . He'll get you your cart take your cart helpful to all who come .. genuine charismatic and charming makes shopping at stop & shop of Teaneck NJ a pleasure.

Morning hours are the best here, fresh produce being put out, good prices and lots of options especially for lactose intolerant people and lots of kosher options as well. And the staff is great.

Always clean and organized. Love the fresh vegetables they always have available. The 8 mixed veggie medley they make in house is great. We use it all the time in our home.

Has everything including organic whole food, fresh seafood, exotic produce, multiple ethnic specialties, and household goods organized in well-labeled easy-to-access aisles. Allows you to scan your own selections as you shop, bag them as you go, and then check out in less than a minute. Website (or weekly email) allows you to browse sales flyer, add bargains to your shopping list, then print it out in department order. Fresh deli sliced to order, or if you know what you want, use touch screen instead of waiting on line. Cell phone beeps when order is ready to pick up. Can't beat Stop and Shop!

Best bakery.. never a fan of baked goods at a supermarket but they have the best bakery
They sell a vanilla creme brulee torte bar cake. That is the best I ever had! Just wish they would keep it in stock more often.

This must be the friendliest staff and any supermarket in New Jersey. Everyone from the folks on the floor, check out and even the guy collecting the shopping carts in the parking lot are friendly and polite.

This is not previously one of my regular stops, but going forward it will be.

I like this store because its clean quite and never crowded. I'm in and out fast. It can get pricey but you can use the club card or coupons for extra discounts.

This 5 star review is for the bakery. Rebecca and Eve took great care of me when I ordered my daughter’s 4th Birthday cake and a few other items. They were kind, patient and professional. I tend to be a bit anal when it comes to details for my babies and they did not disappoint. The cake came out SO cute... yummy too. Thank you to Rebecca and Eve... I’ll be back :)

My shopping experience was great as for working do not get a job in the deli the manager has mental health issues and don't know how to work with people heads up

Very good atmosphere, not too much hustle and bustle. Plenty of parking.
Ms. Oliquino very willing to help an out of towner find everything I needed with no rush. Very appreciative of that and will definitely be back.
