Great early morning minyan. Starts between 6-615. The fastest minyan I have found in town. The leiner on Mondays and Thursdays blazes about as far as possible while still enunciating clearly. Pretty impressive. Pretty friendly folks.

Founded in 1873, Ohab Zedek remains one of my favorite synagogues in Manhattan. Very beautiful aron kodesh and synagogue. Photos can be seen in the book, "Ten Times Chai: 180 Orthodox Synagogues of New York City."

Modern orthodox Shul. Where you will find a true mix of "Erliche Yiddin" (Modern orthodox, "Amerikaner" ,Yekes, Sefardim, Litvaks, and Chasidim all davining in harmony) Warm, welcoming, no spin, pleasant place to Daven (This is my experience, during weekday Shachris)
