This is a five star for dr Sanderson she’s amazing doctor followed her from one location to another because she is worth the travel my kids love her and we love that she takes her time to listen to us she makes sure and not say I think it’s this she give a referral when we want to check something she is the best if u want a doctor that listens and is proactive then she’s your doctor the staff here are very nice and it’s overall a good clinic

The clerks need a bit more polishing but my Dr.,
Dr. Alfieri is a super star. She is excellent...
Dr. Alfieri has a wonderful way with the patient. She is professional, careing and knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain your test results and educates you on the best options. I wouldn't change her for the world.

I would rate this office higher if getting them on the phone was possible. It's really hard to get them to answer and can take a long time. Additionally, when using their online portal and asking for appointment, even that can take days for them to get back to you.

Beyond that, I really like my experience with the doctors. First I saw Dr. Alfieri, but she's since left. Since then I've been seeing Dr. Pratomo. She has a really kind bedside manner and I feel super listened to by her in a way I don't feel most doctors listen. I do feel like she's always very busy and overworked - it's clear she's seeing a lot of patients. But I am grateful when I'm able to see her because she's patient and explains things thoroughly and always answers my questions. Getting blood drawn at this office is really good, tends to be super fast. My veins are deep and move and the nurse always finds it, which hasn't been my experience in the past with other offices.

Overall, I really like the care staff. The problem is more to do with the front office either being too busy to pick up calls or there not being enough of them to get back to patients in a timely manner. They also tend to be booked out for a while. It takes a few weeks to a month to be seen.

Calling this office is more than frustrating. You get the usul computer
robot who continuously will ask you for a pin ???? Pins that most people do not have or were ever given. Then the robot hangs up. You have to try a zillion times before some actually answers and it is usually from a Dept you do not want to speak with to begin with. The service is really bad. So if you need assistance do not expect in fact if you are elderly or handicapped you will maybe even get sick trying to get good service .
Seems the training for the persons who answer these calls is really bad as well most if you are lucky are inept persons who actually make the robot computers sound smarter. It is so sad that qualified persons are not hired to man the phones and or the in visit reception desk at most clinic in US but Montefiore is among the worst.If this is how they man their call how good can their medical service be really scary. By the way the second star is for the robot !!!

West of Broadway, on the hill is quiet, hilly and pleasent. Down the hill by Broadway is dirty, lots of noisy traffic with noisy trains, and of questionable safety after dark. The retail on Broadway is cruddy with the exception of a big Rite Aid and a C-Town. On 225 street there is a Target, Marshalls and a few other newer stores, as well as a Applebees and Starbucks. Transportation is good with both the number 1 subway and Metro North at 225 Street, and a good hospital, The Allen Hospital of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center is just over the short Broadway Bridge.

They always late with sending out your refills, The Coordinator is Not Understanding at all, you wait almost 2hr for the Nurse to call you in to do weight and blood pressure to be sent outside to wait another hr so if your appointment is at 1:00 pm you don’t leave till 5:00pm…..

if i could give them a zero i WOULD! the worst service i have ever received. I have been bringing my daughter to this practice for about 5 years, always seen by Margaret Murray. Every single visit has been a night mare. As soon as i walk in the office i feel judged... Murray has a dry nasty attitude. I put up with it over the years, because im not there to become her bff.

But, IVE HAD ENOUGH. i never get to speak to anyone very time i call, and the voicemail is always full. (this went on for two weeks). Since i wasnt getting in touch with anyone i decided to go in person. All i needed was a check up for my DIABETIC daughter, and some forms to be filled out. i literally waited for HOOUURSS. When i asked the receptionist what was taking so long he told me "Murray was really busy" thats understandable... so i waited a little longer. When i was finally seen by her i asked her to fill out the forms. She had the audacity to say those forms were not important at the moment and she had other things to do! WHAT?!! My daughters medical forms are not important? After going back and forth with her, she finally filled out the forms... INCORRECTLY (INSURANCE WOULDN'T EVEN ACCEPT IT). She refused to even look at the papers again.

HATE TO SAY THIS BUT THIS IS HONESTLY A HORRIBLE "DOCTOR"

A few months ago, I received a letter that my doctor moved away and that I would need a new one. Today, I called for an appointment for a stye and ear infection and was told that my former clinic wasn't receiving any more "new" patients and that because I didn't have a doctor there, I was considered "new" and would need to find a new location. Is this routine? I assumed I could be transferred to a different doctor's load at the same clinic.

Meanwhile, I looked up an urgent care center in the Montefiore Health System to stay within insurance and found that all three locations in the city only open at 2:00 pm when I'll already be gone for work.

One star cause I couldn't give no stars. Absolutely the worst place you could ever go to. Both my GYN and PCP were great doctors who one day up and left and no one was able to tell me that. You'd think you were asking for heroine or freaking crystal meth when you call to get a refill for a prescription. Absolutely NOT a fan of this place. I had been going there for at least 15 years and finally left after both my favorite doctors left. DO NOT GO HERE... Do yourself a favor. Dr. Gonzalez is the worst btw. Also all doctors are always overbooked - wait time there is at least an hour and a half if you don't have the first appt of the day.
