Michael's Riverside

We recently celebrated our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary at Michael’s Riverside restaurant. This venue has great qualities: delicious food, good service, elegant setting, big parking lot and the price is very reasonable. Our family and our guests were so pleased with the reception. Our big thanks to Michael for helping us have an unforgettable celebration. We recommend Michael’s Riverside 100%!

Attended a end of season party for my sons wrestling team in the party room. There was ample space for all of us, the staff and manager/owner was exceptionally kind, friendly and accomodating. The food was delicious. I would definitely come back with my family for a meal or host an event from this restaurant.

My now Husband and I cannot thank Michael enough for everything he has done for our wedding, making sure we had the best ceremony and reception possible. Everything was so perfect. He exceeded our expectations, and went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests. He made the process of planning simple and enjoyable. You truly can’t find better than Michael’s, so many guests complimented us on the delicious cocktail hour and dinner. We can’t recommend Michael’s Riverside enough.

I have been to Michaels numerous times for all different types of parties and food was always good. Made a last minute decision for dinner on Saturday night. Food and service was outstanding appetizers fried calamari and mozzarella corozo were both outstanding. Entries were equally as good as were drinks for whole party. There was no complaints only compliments on food and drink. Prices were also very reasonable compared to other restaurants in area. If you are not going here for dinner and made the same mistake as I did thinking it was only for parties you are missing the boat.

Michael is truly the best! He pays attention to detail, very responsive, involved, and truly wants the best for his customers. We were touched by his jubilant, tranquil mannerisms. My husband and I got married during COVID and celebrated our marriage with all our friends and family there a year a later. The food was phonomenal. We will definitely be back for future parties, and for dinner.

I want to thank Michael and his staff for helping make my dream baby shower come to life. Michael was so accommodating. His staff was so on point, my guest wanted for nothing. Now the food...the food was absolutely delicious!!! I received so many compliments from the service to the food that I am so grateful to Michael & his staff. I would recommend Michael's restaurant a million times. Michael is a great owner and knows how to take care of his customers. I had my daughters first bday 5mins away and needed catering. Im so glad I picked Michael's. The food was great and all my guests loved it. If I could give 10 stars I would. Will definitely hire Michael for my next event.

Michael hosted a repast after funeral at 11am. Totally professional and welcoming from Michael and his wife. A family run place. And every dish was delicious. In a state full of Italian restaurants, particularlly Lyndhurst, Michael's stands out as one of the best for flavor. Italo Marchini

I have been coming to this restaurant for years, the service has always been top notch. It really upsets me when people leave bad reviews for places but don't tell the entire story. The poor review below may be how they felt about the food but what they don't tell you is Michael's was not open for dinner, only private parties. The waitstaff found a way pulled together a table and allowed them to have dinner their because they were "dying" to try it out. They complain about the food but what they don't tell you is the waitstaff was apologetic and the food was immediately taken off the bill no questions asked. Truly no good deed goes unpunished. If they didn't accommodate them they would have trashed them for being closed for private parties. It just goes to show there are some people in this world you can not make happy!!! If you want a place that has great food and makes you feel at home, you can't go wrong eating or having a party here!

I absolutely LOVE Michael’s Riverside and highly recommend it for any event you might have. I have been to many events here (baby showers, bridal showers, a wedding, baptism parties) & have never been disappointed. We recently had my son’s baptism party here & it was amazing, as ALWAYS! Michael is so genuine and easy to work with. He communicated so professionally & made everything really easy for me, especially with me living hours away. The staff is always so friendly, kind, attentive & accommodating. They did a great job setting everything up that we dropped off. The food options are great & everything is absolutely delicious. They were so accommodating especially for the young kids in our family who are very picky eaters. They gave extra options of chicken fingers/fries & even pasta with butter. The sangria is DELICIOUS! All of our guests were very happy with everything (staff, food, drinks, the pretty room, patience with children dancing/playing). We are so happy with our experience & can’t wait to book another event in the future! Thank you to everyone at Michael’s Riverside for always being so incredible!

I had my daughter's bridal shower at Michael's. Michael is a pleasure to work with, so warm and accommodating. We had a buffet luncheon. The food was absolutely delicious, the best I've had at any function I've been to. His staff is top notch, always present and attentive. I got texts for days telling me what a great time they had and how delicious the food was. You need to book a venue for a party, go to MICHAEL'S RIVERSIDE!

My lodge has our monthly meetings here so I eat here often. Michael is VERY pleasant to deal with, accommodating, helpful and everything in-between. Which every owner should be!!
The food here is great, as a somewhat picky person who doesn't like meat with fat on it, chicken on the bone, or dishes with too much tomato sauce, I can only think of ONE dish I wasn't a fan of(others were). His tomato sauce is REALLY good, it's not thick jarish sauce, and the food isn't drowned in it.
We do get buffet style and everything comes out piping hot and fresh. My top 2 buffet choices are chicken Parm and salmon, but everything else is delicious as well!
The room we use for our meeting is large and has a bar, it's perfect for any occasion, birthday, shower, etc.. The staff is always friendly, and service is great. I'd definitely book a party here or go for dinner any time.

Went to Michael's Riverside for a recent birthday. The staff was friendly, food abundant and delicious. Would highly recommend this place for parties in the future. Would love to come for dinner one night.

Last Saturday we had my nieces baby shower here. The food was excellent. Michael and his staff were very accommodating. It is a beautiful venue. All of our guests raved about the whole day. I would highly recommend Michaels for all your family events!
