Jacob came today to install a new (additional ) door lock on my apartment. Very experienced and professional. Showed me the range of options for security, and when I chose a midrange lock he didn’t try to upsell me on the more expensive ones. Installation was quick, and he even fixed a problem with the existing lock that had been installed by a previous tenant. I highly recommend Larry the Locksmith for this type of service.

I was very impressed with the ease and efficiency of getting the cylinder changed due to an emergency to my apt door . Spoke with Joe on the phone this morning who said he would fit me into their schedule . I was very impressed with the ease and efficiency of Jaime who was at my house. He was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. It didn’t take him long at all, plus answered all sorts of random questions while he worked! A great experience overall. When I called to make the appointment, the person I spoke to took the time to understand what I need and explained my options clearly. On the day, the locksmith called to say that he was running *ahead* of schedule, which worked out great for me. He replaced the existing mortise lock that was installed by a previous owner (and which was the wrong size for the door), changed the cylinder in the existing deadbolt, and fixed the alignment of everything. Everything works great now. Everyone was very professional and courteous, and the quality of the work was excellent.

Had a good experience when changing the door locks on my car. One of the key cylinders got mucked up, so they were able to order and replace all the cylinders. Joe was able to source a part that needed replacement during the process, and kept good communication. Everyone there has been super helpful.

Living in an old apartment there was quite a few doors that needed adjustments and their lead locksmith came and fixed them all in a matter of 20 minutes. He even sawed off a piece of wood at the base to thread a wire through, stapled it down so that it stopped preventing the door from closing. 3 working closets, some new door knobs and he even brought his own mini broom and dustpan to clean up the debris. Although they're based in Riverdale, I heard they service the whole Bronx and Manhattan areas. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

Very great experience. I requested a specific time frame and Jaime was very courteous to call that he might be delayed due to a traffic circumstance but he arrived about an hour and 10 minutes before my latest hour available anyway.

Jaime was great in explaining my options, also in making an adjustment request to my lock, and was very friendly and personable.

This is my second time using Larry the Locksmith services the first time the company installed a security gate in my bedroom. The service was impeccable. This time I needed to have an Yale Smart Lock installed on my front door which I purchased on my own. Unfortunately every neighborhood business that I called wanted an arm and a leg for installation. The gentleman who came to my home was a total professional, in addition to being very pleasant. Called to say he was on his way. He made excellent suggestions and told me what he was doing each step of the way. He also cleaned up! He did a perfect job!

Went there after going to bank to see about their car keys, I need a extra car key, my keys are keyless so they would need to program the keys into my car. They took my information down. I got a call like couple days after saying they can order my keys and how much it is. It was definitely cheaper at Larry the locksmith than the car dealership. I paid a deposit, and was scheduled to come in. Went in on saturday got it done took about 10-15mins to program the keys. Larry showed me that everything was done correctly I liked that. And also he showed how to replace the batteries and everything saying even if the key dies the top of the key should allow you to use it... the staff is also friendly and professional.

Jamie the locksmith, was very informative and did not push a complete replacement lock set on me, though I thought that's what I needed. I appreciated his honesty, which saved me over $250+ dollars. Very rare to have businesses look out for the customers.

Sarah was amazing in helping me obtain a particularl Marks lock, that most places like Home Depot or Lowes do not carry. Her attention to detail and courtesy was nice to experience. I highly recommend this place - as its worth the trip, if finding what you need at a fair price is important to you.
