I’m rating my experience based off customer service. From the welcoming to customer service, 10/10. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the food. My wings were beyond dry and the buffalo sauce was somewhat cold. Dry wings tossed in semi cold sauce was not what I was expecting. However, a friend let me taste a slice of their pizza and it was ok, too much salt in the sauce. I would come back to hang and have a good time. The vibes were very welcoming.

I don't often give 5 stars but here I had to. It's not the prettiest place but boy, the food will make me come back here. Open faced steak sandwich was seasoned and cooked to perfection, fries were on point. Lobster mac and cheese was fall-apart in your mouth good. Cajun chicken wrap was over-filled with (surprise!) tasty chicken. My wife could only eat half. Sweet potato fries were excellent. We were passing by after an event, this was our first time here. We didn't know what to expect, certainly not what we experienced. Server was friendly and quick. Food took 10-12 minutes to come out from the kitchen. Food and service is well worth the prices. I definitely will be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Railyard Tavern in Fair Lawn, NJ, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly bartender, Allan, whose customer service was truly outstanding. He recommended the Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach, and I also indulged in a dozen delicious Oysters as an appetizer. The food was served promptly, and every bite was a delight. The steak was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth.

What sets The Railyard Tavern apart is not just the incredible food, but also the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner has gone above and beyond to ensure that I always have oysters available whenever I visit, and I have built a great relationship with him over time. The diverse crowd that frequents this establishment is incredibly friendly, making every visit a joy.

I live in New York, but I make it a point to visit The Railyard Tavern whenever I can. In fact, I recommended it to my brother, and now he and his wife visit weekly. It's amazing how Allen, who not only tends the bar but also serves tables and hosts parties, knew exactly who my brother was and even remembered his usual order.

Whether you're looking for a place to celebrate, have a business meeting, watch sports, or enjoy a romantic date, The Railyard Tavern is the perfect choice. First time there. Had the bbq wings and the pesto shrimp pizza. Wings were good, nice amount of BBQ sauce and size of the wings was satisfactory. Pizza I thought was very good. Pesto sauce was very tasty and enough shrimp to make it right. Thought the service was good and honest. They let us know right away how long food would be before we ordered. If I were in the area I would absolutely consider going there again.

Great place to watch PPV sports events. Food is really decent and conveniently priced

Very good food. Pizza is killer if you like thin crust. Service is decent ... they need to hire one or two more servers but our dinner did not take too long to come out. Good selection of beers and drinks. Food is made fresh. Second time we've been here. Thumbs up.

Great local place with easy parking. The 12” margarita pizza was delicious. Great tasting sauce with a very nice crust. The lobster Mac and cheese was very tasty with just the right amount of flavor. The open sliced steak sandwich was perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. Great texture and taste. The chicken fingers were absolutely perfect! Not stringy and cooked perfectly. Awesome fries accompanied several dishes. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The menu has a great variety including a very nice GF section. Service is very attentive and the atmosphere is relaxing. Priced reasonably.

This place is successfully providing safe comfortable seating indoors with self contained cubicles during the pandemic awesome idea. The food and service was excellent. I had lobster mac and cheese and it was just the right size and very flavorful. My had a chicken pasta dish and love it too (very picky eater) drinks were well made and a few specials. Management was kind and friendly and pricing was not out of this world just the right price range for the location.

Love the atmosphere the beers are always super cold. And love the pizza here great pies. The place is great.

First time guest and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. Food and service was 10/10. They have an entire GF menu. I have celiac so I asked the server if everything was cooked separately and he said yes! I feel completely fine after eating it. They even offer GF Pizza although, they might be cooked in the same oven as the regular pizzas. ( I don’t know for sure) I ordered the PEI Mussels which were delicious to the point where I asked for a spoon to eat up the delicious broth they were in. For my entree, I ordered the GF Cheese Ravioli with Vodka Sauce, also amazing! I highly recommend and will be referring my friends and family! Looking forward to going back!

Came here for the first time over a year ago when I started my job in fair lawn. That day I was over the moon with my margarita. It was a perfect balance of tart and sweet. Wings and fries were delightful, definitely hit a craving spot. Another time went with my sister and I ordered their pizza. Another great item to share! But my favorite item has to be their grilled chicken wrap. I've ordered it a few times to go for either lunch or dinner. Not only is it filling, it's also a healthier option. They have a very extensive menu so lots to choose from, it all sounds so appetizing. A great spot to meet up with friends or coworkers.

I have yet to have a bad item at this establishment after finding it 6 months ago. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is kept clean, and the atmosphere is perfect for both people looking to watch a game or for families to come by. Don't be afraid to try any non-traditional bar fare here. Some of those (like the meatballs and the mushroom appetizers) are the tastiest I have had here.

UPDATE: 2023 meeting here last night and bought some basic pasta /Marinara sauce with veggies and waiter brought empty plates holding wo gloves/ fingers all
Over the plate! Disgusting!!! The food was lukewarm and overly priced!!! You can get a quality pasta dish at a
Fine Italian restaurant for less!!! Waiter never came back to ask if we needed anything else Sich as bread or salt pepper chili garlic oregano etc! Never saw him again till he came back with the bill!!! Hurried to take order and run away before order requests complete! I’ll give him he was serving 20 people at once BUT!!! Time to Pay the bill automatic 20% tip included than a line for you to add an extra tip THAN figures at the bottom to TIP ontop of the tip AND bill!!! Very confusing… and Tons of parking, great atmosphere, good music, live and piped in, owner fabulous guy, staff possess manners, food good, prices not bad and local community. Fun for all.

It was a great place to go. Went to two other bars and they had bands playing music, loud music. Had to find a place to sit at the bar and have a beer. Talking to the bartender was nice also. Told her that I had worked at Nabisco, which is closed. I did security work in the evening shift. Want a shame. So many residents from Fair Lawn worked there.

I used to come here occasionally on Fridays but then Covid happened.. they've recently reopened for outdoor dining. I went and had the Cobb salad and an appetizer of jalapeno poppers. The food was good as usual. Their pizza is really good. Service is always good. The tables were spaced out more than 6 ft. apart. Wait staff was wearing masks. No problem if you need to use the restroom,
just go inside but wear your mask (of course).
It was nice to go back. I will continue to go because it is consistently good food and service.

This is a winner for my family because it has gluten free options for me and tasty food for my husband and our son. Plus, as a very obviously gay couple with a child, we are pleased that this local community bar / restaurant / eatery hasn't batted an eye at our unique family. I gravitate to the wraps on the GF menu, and my son loves the pasta options. Big portions (probably a little too big, but makes for a good doggy bag) and very tasty.
