Riverside County Park Joseph Carucci Area

Riverside County Park, Joseph Carucci Area is a spacious park with a lot to offer. On the north side, there are athletic facilities; tennis courts, tennis walls, a large baseball field (Breslin Field). Elsewhere, there are numerous walking trails and paths, several picnic areas, bocce courts, a dog park, an exercise and fitness station, a small pond (which can occasionally overflow), and a small softball field on the south end. Something for just about everyone.

A very pleasant little park—the cleanest bathrooms we’ve seen in a public park! Our first graders rode their bikes around the baseball field/track circle and that was fun for them. Big fields, a river view. Good place to spend an hour.

A gorgeous park next to the filthy Passaic River [?]. The nature is wonderful and it is perfect for family trips, picnics and rowing regattas! Over all I had a great time enjoying this park's nature, I am sure you will to! <:

Super cute park ! Nice fields & great children’s play ground. We did a real estate shoot here && it was awesome (aside from the freezing weather). Great park for exercising, running, biking, playing in the fields & photoshoots !!!!!

So we play our annual #familyandfriendssoftball and this year we all we're having a great time at the softball game and once it hit 5 o'clock rain started pouring and we were in a tent the next thing you know it started raining really hard and lightning struck 20 feet from our tent it was crazy scary never experienced anything like this before but glad we were all safe we had a permit to be at the baseball field because we are residents of Lyndhurst it was $75 but you can actually get a permit if you are a non-resident and it will cost $100 with a $120 deposit so go out there and have fun great part to be at no matter what #GizzyCredit

Beautiful spacious park for quiet time or sports activities. Family and pet friendly. Great place to walk on a nice day. Enjoy a picnic 🧺 in the shade. It will definitely be a nice memorable day.

This park has so many things for families to do & is pretty well kept up. It's got the best dog park I've ever seen. I like to watch the dogs walk their parents 🤣. Dogs seem to have a great time running & playing with each other.

Nice tennis and pickleball courts. Surfaces are in excellent condition. The center fence separating the two pickleball courts should have been built to the height of the rest of the cage. I expect shots gone awry will be pelting the back of players' heads in the neighboring court.

Great dog park with separate section for large and small dogs. Plenty of seating.

I love this park! I love walking along the paved smooth pathway while enjoying the river view.
This park is clean, quiet & comforting with sounds of children playing & laughing in the distance or the cheers from a sporting event in the fields. There are spacious outside area's to have large get togethers or celebrations with tables & even a huge covered structure to protect you from the sun or rain. Well maintained & manicured pathways. Enjoy a short visit from a friendly squirrel or two along the way of leisurely walk. A circular path surrounds a ball field as well ,if you want to watch the game while taking a walk or jog.
Nice clean restrooms & plenty of parking available. If your a serious Walker or jogger the walking paths are always clean from debris, even in the winter the snow is removed for you. Nice place to get away from the stress of the day to help you wind down.

Very well groomed park with a very friendly environment. The park sir beside the river making a very pleasant view for a walk. Plenty of paved walking trail. Dog park seemed very popular. The restrooms were well maintained and clean. A great place to spend some outdoor rime

Great park for a day out with the family. 5 stars for having one of the cleanest public bathrooms you would ever find at the park. Very safe park and have been going there for years with no issue. A small dog park area so definitely dog friendly.

Moved to Lyndhurst 3 years ago and have been visiting this park every weekend. The grounds are well maintained, the baseball field is brand new and clean. The boccie ball courts are a nice addition. The dog run has been renovated within the last year. Great place for a quiet walk and enjoy nature.

Happy to hear the town recently received funds to improve this park. It has great potential.
Riverside is a good location to enjoy a short jog or admire the row boats on the dock, two parking lots, track, very clean and home to geese, birds, gophers and more.

This park also has numerous trash cans inside park and portapottys near the rear parking lot.

Used pavilion for work gathering. Staff was pleasant and helpful ..thanks guys! Facility was perfect for our needs!

Really nice and simple park. Perfect distance from my house. I like to go walking there.

Lovely place. It's a large park with a dog park. Not very crowded but has so many picnic tables and a big pavilion. Pavilion has electric outlet also but might be used with permission. I'm not sure. You can bring your own grill.

Yay for a wonderful park finally! Many mixed reviews from cranky people about the dog park but WE LOVED our experience and have been frequently going to play and get energy out. It can be muddy after the rain but it is a park and it is pretty normal for a dog to have some fun in the dirt. Patrons are friendly and we all share great dog tips!
