Hiro Sushi

Called ahead to order pickup. Sushi was absolutely delicious. I got the spicy mango salmon roll and a Philadelphia roll. They were all balanced great, love mango and salmon - such a good combination. Can't wait to try all the sashimi I saw on the menu.

In my opinion, they serve the best sushi. And I have tried many places. Small hidden jewel. Very private and delicious food.

Cute little restaurant. Good quality sushi. Good service. They out a lot off effort into présentation and are very quick with the food. The interior decor is very quaint. Not a lot of seating but perfectly spaced out.

A small mom and pop restaurant run by a Japanese couple. It was the quintessential shishi restaurant experience the minute we walked in: the faint, soothing Japanese classical music, the decor, and the razor sharp focused master chef working at the counter. My favorite dish of the meal was chirasi bowl, fresh and artfully presented. Hiro Shushi is probably one of the best shishi places in Jersey. I'll definitely come back.

One of my favorite sushi spots to go to in the north jersey area. Their rolls have always tasted fresh, I’ve never got that really fishy taste or smell. The service is usually pretty fast and the staff is friendly. If you dine in, definitely try the matcha ice cream. Sweet potatoe roll and shiitake mushroom rolls are my personal favorite!

One of the finer more personal Sushi houses. Fills up quickly. By personal, there is a better atmosphere having interaction with the Chef, then being just a patron. It was one of the reasons we liked Samurai Sushi on Park.

I am lucky to travel around the world for living and was able to try Japanese restaurants pretty much everywhere.
This place doesn't get any closer to what you could find in Shinjuku (Tokyo) not only in terms of food but atmosphere.

Pineapple fried rice and tuna tartare were excellent. Drinks are a little too strong for my taste. But overall experience was great.

Ordered take out and it was amazing really fresh sushi and really friendly staff. Sushi it authentic and tasted really good!!

An awesome no frills Japanese sushi restaurant. The sushi was good no where near the best I ever had but the friendly staff and atmosphere more than made up for it. Unfortunately I was hoping for a good beer or sake menu but for now at least it’s BYOB. Portion sizes were good. What really won me over was the feeling of being at a family gathering.

The food was great! We had sushi and soup. Small place but atmosphere is very soothing. The lady wasn’t too friendly and asked if we had reservations but she still accommodated us. I will come back again but I hope I can see smiles this time.

I adore this little sushi place! My boyfriend & I LOVE coming here over the weekends, absolutely the best sushi I have ever had. It's super clean & the chefs are so polite & friendly. The atmosphere is soothing & laid back. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. :)

The place is pretty small, there are maybe 20 seats but it's a great spot. Sushi chefs are easily visible and friendly , and service is very personal. It feels as if the hostess and server is the owner, which is great.

Sushi selection isn't huge but the rolls come with a lot of fish and little rice, which we appreciate. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight, and the food was excellent. I had the sushi entree and she had some tempura rolls. The place was clean, friendly, and fast. The only drawback was it's a tiny place, I mean real small, like 20 or 25 people max. For less than $40 we both left super happy and very satisfied, I will definitely be going back!!!

My partner and I have been going to Hiro Sushi for a few years now and we love it. The sushi is really fresh, and it is probably the best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. It’s a small venue which means if you go during a busy time you probably won’t be able to sit down. The food is absolutely out of this world good.
