Virgil Park

Really nice park. Walking trails that connect to the B&O trail. Water features. Restrooms. Picnic area. Small playground. Very creative features and layout.

This park is small but awesome and fittingly set right off the B&O Trail. The B&O Trail was the Virgil's labor of love. I was privileged enough to have met Diane before her passing and thought she was so sweet and caring. I was thrilled to learn this park was dedicated to her and her husband's honor.

Awesome little park in Brownsburg that sits along the B&O Trail. I love the nature concept and design of this park. It’s a great addition to the community and hosts lots of neat amenities (see photos). The three workout machines (ages 13 and up) is a great addition to the park especially for parents.

I am not sure if the cameras are actively monitored but there appears to be cameras in the picnic area. My only concern with the park hence I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that there are little bodies of water in close proximity to the park which is concerning for small children. I didn’t see any signage indicating the depths of the water but definitely a concern.

Today I drove past this small unfinished park and its really nice! There is a restroom, water fountain, covered shelter with electrical outlets, walking trail, jungle gym, adult exercise equipment and metal benches. It is still under construction but coming along.

Great place to get out and let the kids run
