OrthoIndy West Urgent Care

Got me in quickly for all my visits. They we kind and caring. I have frequent ortho needs and I'm so glad I found this urgent care since recently moving to this area from Ft. Wayne. Will be a repeat customer for all my ortho needs.

SO impressed! Checkin was smooth and friendly, we were seen quickly, they identified the issue fast, and we left with a splint and a follow-up appointment already scheduled. The staff were SO kind and patient with our toddler, who was justifiably uncomfortable/nervous.

I hope we never need to come back, but if we do I'm glad this place is here. :)

I would highly recommend! I had to bring my mother to the Urgent Care. Everyone was nice and pleasant. Jeremey at the front was very informative and very patient with my mother and I during the registration process. The PA Lorenzo was very knowledgeable and great. Once again I would highly recommend this facility!

I don't understand the bad reviews here. I've had to go her twice now for 2 different injuries. The 1st I pulled my sciatic nerve working in the garden and the 2nd was in follow up to an ER visit after I broke my rib falling down a flight of stairs and bruising all my internal organs. I see Dr. Hume who is super smart and helpful. He educates you on your injuries and then asks you what approach you want to take on healing. I'm always given options. I refer him to everyone. The office staff for him is also the sweetest ladies. I’m getting older, and if I’m injured, Dr Hume is where I go! The only issue with them that I've noticed is you can get an appt faster than you can get a refill called in.

Fair warning: if you want actual medical care, this isn't the place. I went with what I was sure was a torn meniscus (because I've had one before) and saw PA Emily Thieme. She spoke over me, didn't listen to a thing I said, and DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT MY KNEE. That's right, my knee stayed in the brace, in my slacks, and she didn't bother to look at the immense swelling and bruising. I saw someone today who actually knew what they were doing and was immediately put on crutches and sent to an orthopedic surgeon because anyone who bothered to actually look at my injury could see how messed up it truly is. Thank you for absolutely nothing

Dealing with billing is an absolute nightmare. I am still dealing with them to resolve a bill from 1.5 years ago that I should not owe anything on... Never should have owed anything on. I also never actually received any bills. Just a text message saying I'm overdue. Like excuse me? The first I hear about it is a text message saying I'm late? I've still never actually received an invoice to this date.

Their billing department will hang up on you because you asked why they are so bad. Thanks to the lady in billing for hanging up on me twice. You know who you are... First time for daring to ask how this happened and the second time she hung up on me when I specifically said I didn't need to talk to her anymore and asked to speak with a supervisor.

The actual service at the appointment was fine I guess. Nothing exceptional. They'll take care of you but you definitely get the feeling of people in/people out being their primary goal.

At OrthoIndy Brownsburg - they forgot about my wife and left her in a room. And when she realized how quiet it was she checked to find that nearly everyone had left and no doctor to be found. She had left early to pick her children up from daycare. So my wife was seen by a doctor they “found” in the building who have the typical OrthoIndy treatment - anti inflammatory, steroids and PT. Zero help and quite possibly the worst customer service we have ever experience. IU Health here we come.

Husband’s first visit saw Jacob, a nurse practitioner~good visit. Prescribed 300 mg gabapentin. Second visit saw Dr Nick Jasper~good visit. Told him to up gabapentin to 600 mg. Third visit saw Dr. Jasper again~not good. When husband told him he had done some research and was uncomfortable taking that much gabapentin, doctor seemed irritated and became disrespectful and arrogant. Didn’t do a thorough exam in our opinion.

Unresponsive. Left & went to Orthoindy 86th strert. Not far. 1000N becomes 86th St. It is close to I465 & 86th St.
