Pulmonary & Sleep Specialists: Kinsella, Charles, MD, FCCP

Dr. Kinsella is a straight shooter. he tackles the issue. Not a lot of small talk which is fine with me. When I could not afford the inhalors he prescribed. He sent me home with a ton of samples! I think he does a great job!

I was referred by a friend and after reading reviews almost cancelled my appointment. I am glad I didn't. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Dr. Kinsella was very nice and I had many questions and he answered them without acting annoyed or that it bothered him. My visit was very pleasant. I would not hesitate to go back if needed.

My husband, my father and my mother have all seen Dr. Kinsella. He is very knowledgeable and very professional. He speaks softly and doesn't talk a lot. But he has always answered all of our questions and he has always been right about what was needed. We make sure to take our list and have never had a problem. We highly recommend him.

He pled guilty to DUI. If I can't trust Kinsella to follow the law and not put other people at risk because of his stupid decisions, I certainly can't trust him as a healthcare provider

Kinsella is a sad excuse for a provider and does the healthcare community a disservice. HE HAS BEEN SUED TWICE FOR MALPRACTICE, TAKE THAT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.

If you are a veteran suffering from medical issues, DO NOT seek his advice - I was treated poorly and unprofessionally by him. He diminished my symptoms and spent more time trying to usher me out of the room than answering questions. It is clear he has a chip on his shoulder for those who have served. Based on my experience, you will not be provided the standard of care.

No bedside manner and refuses to treat patients with severe insomnia history with proper medication, doctor walked out of appointment when patient requested medical treatment with medication patient was prescribed and has medical history of

Was nice at first ,but than very rude.when I asked for samples of enhaler because my deductible is 500 , Dr. KINSELLA TOLD ME HE DOESN'T HAVE AN INHALER SAMPLE FOR EVERYONE AND I NEED TO JUST PAY MY 500 DEDUCTIBLE!! I think it's discrimination against Medicare patients because this is the 4th Dr recommend through St. Francis that acted extremely rude.

Dr Kinsella doesn't even deserve this rating. He is the most cold-hearted dr I have ever met. We saw him last wednesday and he was the most ill mannered man. His bedside manner is not even good enough for my cats. I would seriously think twice about going to him.

I saw Dr. Kinsella for the first time to go over my at home sleep study. He talked to me for maybe 5 minutes at my appointment. He kept telling me how skinny I was, mind you I'm a healthy weight for my height and age. He kept feeling/saying he could feel my shin bones. He said I had a lot of signs of sleep apnea but not enough for him to do another test. I told him I was a mouth breather when I slept and he asked me what that meant...how are you a sleep specialist and you don't know what that means? He told me I needed to get a better sleep schedule so if i'm going to bed at 11 p.m then I need to wake up by 5 a.m (6 hours) and not a minute later or it wouldn't work, I continued to tell him that the hours I wrote down on the paper didn't mean I was sleeping that whole time because I wake up several times during the night and can't fall back asleep he didn't have anything to say other then again that I needed to get a better sleep schedule. I also noticed on my after appointment papers that he put I denied all GI problems and every doctor I see knows that I have several GI problems.. It's the fact that Dr. Kinsella didn't even ask me those questions at all he just wrote down whatever. He didn't take the time to get to know me or care/listen to any of my problems they were just brushed off. I left the office with none of my problems fixed and feeling hopeless. He is very inconsiderate and acts above you about everything I will never be seen by him again.

Horrible. Staff is extremely rude and no sense of urgency. His bed side manner is also cold. Many more doctor's out there with much more caring staff. Find them and don't waste your time with Kinsella.

This man treated me less then human. He was rude and short and didnt want to hear a thing in had to say. He wanted to push his agenda and make me feel small. He is unprofessional and cold at best.

This doctor was a complete douche to my grandparents. He is cold, rude, and in no hurry to find the root cause of what is wrong with my grandpa. He also tried to tell them a needed test didn't exist, when another doctor assured them it did. Do NOT recommend!!!!

Rude Dr and treats his staff horribly in my opinion. Could be why staff are snippy and worn out. I was just referred to him by my Oncologist as he is only Pulmonary Dr in their system on Southside. He doesn't treat what I have now, however his staff told me to see him and would
refer me out.

Worst doctor I've ever had give money to and I will make sure to never give him my money again.

Save yourself a trip and find another Doc. Only reason he gets one star is because you can't have less

Worst place to go. Staff doesn’t care. Don’t wast your time with him.
