Indianapolis South BMV Branch

The place is open 24/7 a fact that I wasn't aware of. When I got there it was fully packed. However, the staff was very efficient in getting everyone served in a timely manner. I had a pleasant experience from the front door attendant, security guard and the BMV staff. They were courteous and expedited services.

Needed to take my senior Mother for drivers license renewal. The kindest, patient, non rushing staff. Wonderful experience!!

Best BMV experience I've ever had, to be honest. The guy who assisted me I'm not sure his name, but pretty sure he was LGBT; That guy was dope. Quick and easy and to the point. I overheard the conversation of the lady next to him who was assisting another customer and that transaction was amazingly cordial and funny at parts. Overall 10/10.

Best service ever. I got treated horribly by the branch in Greenwood and came here for help, they were willing to help me . The staff was so kind and helpful. Thank you very very much

A good location. Nice employees and are very quick, as we didn't even sit down to wait. Went straight to the counter and they helped us.

Went in at 8:55am on a Wednesday. Walked in and an employee cleaning the kiosks in the front directed me to the lobby for my business. I took a number from a machine and immediately was called up to be helped before I got a chance to even sit. The process was simple and got everything I needed done in about 5 minutes. Was out the door just after 9am.

The inside is very nice. There’s plenty of space in the lobby and it appeared like there are many employees which is great. I’ve been to some BMVs that were a third the size with like 5 people working. There was maybe like 20-30 employees inside if I had to take a guess. The person who helped me was very nice and patient with me when I had any confusion. Really nice place

Excellent customer service. Not crowded at all, very little wait time once you get a number if you even have a wait time, I've gone in there and touched the screen to get my number and no sooner than it printed out they were calling my number. Your in and out of there!!

I had the Best experience here at this branch. Greated at the door, only had time to sit down and the sweetest lady called me to her desk and helped me right away. I had forgotten some papers(My fault) I ran home and came back waited maybe 5min and the same lady helped me again. I'll Always come here! Thank you.

I was customer #6. I was in and out in 12 minutes. New vehicle registration and driver's license renewal. This new location is large and bright and inviting. Sherylle (sp?) was such a competent and professional employee. She's a great asset to the agency.

Had to visit the new southside Indianapolis location and was in and out in just a few minutes. The customer service rep was friendly and took care of my issue quickly. The new location is spacious and has 3 kiosks and many workstations for taking the drivers test.

Everyone was very friendly. We got right in and out. Didn't have to wait at all. I will definitely be going back there. It was the best BMV experience that I've had in 55 years.

I thought it was a good experience. They wipe seats after each person leaves there seat. About 15 customers are allowed to be in the building at once, others wait outside, customers and employees are require a mask to come in the building. Unfortunately this is the new normal. We were in an out in less than 30 minutes. great job.

Ok, I come from the time when a simple registration renewal took 4 to 6 hrs!!!! I went to get me and my husband's registration today. I walked in, took a number, my number was called right away, the guy told me I could do it at the kiosk have I used it before, I hadn't, he got up walked around and said let me help you...whaaaaaaat!? And then we walked to the thing and there was another lady helping a guy out, a super nice guy at the door welcoming people and speaking bilingual! I was out of there in 15 minutes with BOTH registrations in hand! And the employees were NICE! SUCH A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE THAN A LONG TIME AGO!!

Awesome experience! We got there at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday and there were around 25 people ahead of us. We were called up in under 15 minutes. Jamie was efficient, helpful and kind. We had multiple transactions including titles, plates, licenses and voter registration. All went smoothly! From walking in to walking out it was just under 45 minutes. Remarkable!
