Kroger

This is my favorite grocery store with good access for downtown residents. The grocery pickup is the best I’ve tried, with my orders being accurate and brought to my car in a timely manner. The workers are friendly and the store is well stocked and staffed. I am so glad to not have to use the Southport m**jer pickup service anymore, as it caused me constant headache and frustration with wait times and missing items. Thank you especially to the southern plaza pickup staff for your kindness and attention to detail!!!

I came in late Saturday evening. Ben in the meat department was VERY VERY HELPFUL. Although he was in the process of cleaning out the meat case and closing the counter up for the day, he had no problem helping me with my large purchase of fresh fish. I was having a fish fry and needed enough fish for 25ppl! They had everything I needed! And Ben gave great customer service!

Stephanie who was working self service today,July 7, was doing a phenomenal job! She was extremely busy, and exhibited very pleasant and patient customer service skills.

Leaving a review for Charity, who was working self-checkout night of April 9. I was buying a bottle of wine and she was super friendly when checking my ID. As I was bagging my things, I dropped it and the bottle broke. She came over immediately and was so kind and understanding. I felt like such an idiot, and still did -- but her kindness made my night so my less embarrassing than it could have been had she not been so nice. Thank you so much, Charity. You made my night.

They seem to be doing the best they can. With the Biden supply chain as it is.

Victoria in the click list department was the kindest person I've interacted with in the service industry. She seemed to be working solo tonight but still took the time to make sure everyone had everything they needed!

They mark down items constantly

I used the pickup service on April 10, 2020. The staff did a great job of selecting my products and substituting where necessary. The communication was clear throughout the entire process. Thank you for your hard work right now!

I used to work here I miss it I love that place my dad shops about 2 times a day I always had high scores on produce I always stay friendly and helpful

I usually go to the Krogers by my house but this is the only Krogers that sells a deli item that I love. I just wanted to let someone know that Marie who works in this particular deli does an amazing job on setting everything up. She is very friendly and helpful. To be honest she has been the nicest person I've encountered at this deli. Thanks Marie for making my shopping experience pleasant.

Went here to get my Covid vaccine, very big store euth lots of variety. Staff at the Pharmacy are very nice abd the Nurse was very good at what he does! Didn't feel a thing. 5 stars.

I always have to go in very late after work. There is a lady named Jocelyn that always is so nice and friendly no matter how busy or how late it is. Thank you for making my crazy shopping hours nice.

I really like the remodel of the store. Yakinnah (I've probably spelled it wrong) was a wonderful cashier. Fast, friendly & efficient. Desiree helped me in the deli & she was also very friendly & efficient. I say good job to all of you!

Always my go to grocery store no matter where I'm at. They are always clean and organized so I can always find what I need and want. The employees are so friendly and they make you feel welcome from your first steps in the building.

Beutifully displayed fresh produce and floral as you enter. All of the wide isles were neat, clean and well organized. Prices were reasonable and use your Kroger card for savings with digital coupons.

I go to meat markets usually but this kroger has the best steaks ive ever grilled. Including the meat markets I go to. I'm talking Ruth Chris standards. Could use more registers because I hate the self checkout after working A 12 hour shift.

I live nearby, so I come to this location often. I am writing this review because I want people to know a couple key points that make this Kroger one of the best in my opinion. The store is not giant, it's an average size store and it's very well organized! There are many new stores around that had to be designed by someone who doesn't do grocery shopping, or bring kids with them grocery shopping, because those stores have nonflow to the way the isles are arranged.. this kroger is organized perfect andathe isles never change around, so it's great when you have kiddos and know what isles to avoid of you need to.. lol.
The second point, everyone is kind and the store is CLEAN! The deli etc doesn't over make things and end up stail bakery items or dry gross looking pastas and things in the deli chest.. it's an oldie but a goodie and if your considering stoping in, please do! It's about 10 minutes to Meijer and about 6 min to Walmart.. save the trip and time and check out this Kroger location.. you'll be glad you did..
BTW: if you want a challenge, and like getting lost and confused.. you'll love Meijer.. you are sure to get lost in the "Meijer maze" as I like to call it.. 😉
