Seattle Sutton's Healthy Eating

I was a Seattle Sutton customer many years ago when there was a local distributor in my area. At that time, I could pick up my food and the food was absolutely top-notch. The food is now prepared in Illinois (I live in Indiana) and shipped. It comes with an inordinate amount of packing and I am unable to lift the boxes. What is really disheartening is the quality of the food. The 1200 calorie is very carb heavy and some of the food has been inedible. Last night, the "turkey pot roast" was just simply over-cooked dark meat turkey that was full of gristle, sinew, and fat. The carrots were hard and stringy and the potatoes were over-done. I was able to eat the half an ear of corn and the macaroon cookie but the rest of it I had to throw away. For almost $200 a week, it simply isn't worth the money or the quality of the food. It was a very disappointing experience.
