What a great place to see a movie! The food was surprisingly excellent! Seriously delicious gourmet meals. I has the grass fed burger & the bread pudding. Both were amazing, but that bread pudding is the best I have ever eaten - it was incredible. The service is impeccable, the staff are courteous, and very nice & helpful. We had a great time, it was so much fun. The sound system was amazing. This is definitely my new favorite theater! This is a very cool place. I'm looking forward to going again with family & friends. I highly recommend checking it out. They have an extensive wine list , they have cocktails, and a great list of craft beers, it's such a wonderful place to relax with friends and loved ones.

Love this theater! Such a relaxing environment to watch a movie. Each studio has a great theme.

Food and drinks are pretty dang tasty and great service.

Only negative is their website is hard to use and hard to tell what type of seat you will be sitting in.

We gathered here for a friend's movie premier and it was the perfect venue! Really comfortable, artsy decor and friendly staff. We enjoyed drinks and a selection of tasty items from the menu. The atmosphere encouraged mingling before and after the premier which made the evening feel like a very special event.

My first visit to Studio 1 was for the Barbie movie. I had been wanting to check out this theater for a while. We were in the “Portland” theater seats C3 and 4 and although the chairs are sort of worn a bit they were still very comfortable. I would say the 3rd (and 4th) row is the right distance from the screen and the sound system was great. The service was great. We were shown to our seats by a server and given menus and although we did order anything (we had just had lunch) the brunch menu looked appealing. All and all great first experience and considering that they are about the same price (or a bit less) then the chain theater a better deal for the experience

My wife and I went in to watch The Hunger Games. We got tickets and were seated, and we were surprised to find the theater empty. The showtime (for previews & advertisements) started right as we arrived.
We got settled in, and ordered food & drinks. But after a little while we grew concerned that the screen was empty; we should be going through previews.
We checked with the front desk, and after some confusion there it was discovered that we'd been seated in the wrong theater. :( The correct theater was now well into the movie.
The staff was incredible. They jumped through various hoops and made various adjustments in order to cancel a later show in order to dedicate our (empty) theater to us for our own private viewing of Hunger Games, without even having to sit through advertisements. Our food arrived and we jumped right into our show, and they brought us complimentary (apologetic) free drinks. Aw. :)
I realize that coming in for a matinee on a weekday is the only reason this was possible... but because it *was* possible, they made it happen. It ended up being a better experience than if we'd simply been put into the correct theater.
We felt genuinely cared for, like the staff really wanted to make right their mistake.
Thank you Studio One, for a delightful Movie Night experience. It really felt like we were VIPs. We really appreciate you!

Great food, fun atmosphere, and helpful, down to earth crew. It didn't feel excessively fancy, but rather, comfortable and inviting. Low ticket price, high-ish food prices, just like most movie theaters - but with real meals. Yes, there was popcorn, just fancier.

I get a little motion sick so normally have to sit at the back of the theatre, and I read the website wrong and got seats at the front! Ah! There were no more seats available since it was opening weekend for Dune 2. We ended up heading out of the theatre and sitting at the bar instead and they asked what happened. I let them know and the manager gave us tickets to come back with different seats again another time. I didn’t even have to ask, it was incredibly thoughtful and we’ll definitely come back! Thank you StudioOne y’all are awesome ❤ also the fries are dope if you’re looking for a late night snack!

This is by far my favorite place to go when visiting Portland. There’s no where else in the city where you can watch a movie in a luxury theatre “suite”, enjoy a 5 star dinner, and also have the option to listen to live music. Keep up the great work Studio One.

Hands down BEST theater I've ever been to, and I love to travel. It has seating for solos, couples or families. It was just my husband and myself, and the comfort was better than my own living room. Very romantic to just watch a movie with a loved one. We didn't eat any food, but wish we would have. I was in town visiting, but would do it again in a heart beat! A true experience you don't want to miss out on! Lovely little gem!!

This place is low key awesome. The food is not to sleep on. Their beet salad is one of my favorites. Please take a date there. You can have a different experience each time you go in their themed rooms. Buy tix in advance.

Best theatre around. Highly recommend it for a date. Great cocktails and food with a movie. Each theatre has its own vibe. It's always a great experience.

Luxury movie theater with reserved seating and menu service. Saw the re-release of an old film on a Sunday morning in theater 3, had the theater to ourselves. Had brunch (two egg breakfast, good and generous portion). All the theater seats were couches or stuffed chairs, good shape, but different sizes and firmness. (The center couch we selected was a little too small for two people, would have made a possibility awkward first date, but since we were the only people at that show we were allowed to change seats). Excellent sounds system.

Literally the best theater I've been to!

Very comfy, homey place with plush chairs and love seats giving the feeling of a private screening room. They play first-run mainstream movies. We saw Air here when it came out and the kids saw Mario in the screening room next to us.

The food was awesome and the drinks (wine, beer and cocktails) were exceptional. They have a full bar in the lobby. Order your food in your theater seats and it's delivered to you. It's quite tasty and went beyond my expectations. The build your own charcuterie board is highly recommended. My suggestion is to go in the afternoon when it's not too busy and you have run of the theater. Go early and order your food and drinks before the trailers start so you aren't disturbed during the movie.

This is now the only theater I will go to in Portland. Traditional theaters are now subpar compared to this experience.

Favorite place to see movies! So cozy and comfy. Love the food/bar service and how intimate the theaters are. My favorite room is probably the New York room!

This is a new upscale Dinner Theater. Intimate small theaters with cool seating, some couches some chairs. A few recline and footrests for the rest. Great place for a date. I disliked the distractions: they need to swap out the white pathway lights for red ones (red does not interfere with your dark vision). Leaving the fireplace on was strange, but I think they are going for your in a cool viewing environment in your house vibe. My server checked the theater way to many times, but it was nice to get a surprise drink refill. I tried out every seat, which are reserved, I was solo in the theater. The seats in the front row are too close, kinda trippy, but you can stretch out, and put your head up. Pro tip don't sit by the entrance, the gap under the door distracts from the soundtrack. Collect all your friends and see a show here. Full bar and food service.

Really unique experience for movie! We were avoiding movies during last 2 years for pandemic. The studio one theater made the experience amazing. They had options for ordering dinner/snacks/ beverages. We did not order any but planning to visit this place more often and tryout some of their menu items.

Without a doubt, it is the best movie theater in Portland. The service from the server was excellent. In addition, the food is delicious. It is a little expensive but it is worth the experience.

This was probably the most comfortable movie-going experience I've ever had. We arrived really early, so ended up eating in the bar/lounge portion of the lobby, and eventually bringing in the leftovers to finish while watching the movie. I sat on the bench along the wall in the lounge, and it was incredibly comfortable, but much lower than the chair across the table, so I was looking up at the person I was dining with. The comfort of the seat did not tempt me to change my seat, though. The room where we watched the movie was also ultra-plush. We had barrel shaped chairs that were perfect for movie watching, though all the other types of seating looked great as well. The cost for a movie, an entree and a salad for one person, a pizza for the other, and a couple of drinks each really added up, but it was a legitimately complete meal, rather than what you typically think of as movie theater food. I'm not a fan of the typical mall movie experience, so I tend not to see many movies in theaters, but Studio One really has me planning to get out more.

We saw Godzilla here today. Great space, super comfortable, good service, and very good drinks. I’m not sure how it took us three years in PDX to come here. Best movie theatre in town.
