Wonderful bridal shower experience. They even had a cake bake crown available for purchase. The printed dinner menu was lovely. The service in the little private dining area was deluxe. 10 of us had a beautiful experience. We came from Louisville for the experience and it was well worth it.

Had the pasta dish which has a nice little spicy kick to it. And the bread and mustard on the turkey and gruyere sandwich we're excellent. But the quiche- oh LAWD THE QUICHE. It was like a cloud on a plate. Seriously, that thing was a STAR. Good environment \ atmosphere, but small, so if you're coming on a weekend you'll need to reserve WELL in advance. Bon Appetit!

My wife picked this place out for her birthday. From what I understand, there is also a Carmel, Indiana location that's larger and has a menu with more selections.

I'm not complaining one bit. This place didn't feel too small, and finding amazing choices on the menu was easy! This place had so much charm, the service was great and the food, drinks and dessert all were wonderful!

Had lunch here, highly recommend! The setting is so cute, very elegant and pretty. Service was great and cheerful. Food was fantastic, we ate EVERY BITE! The dessert was almost too beautiful to eat! Definitely get the sparkling lavender lemonade, 😄 it was delicious. Oh and sparkles! Sparkles in my drink and my desserts!

What an experience!! Loved the key lime pie, what a treat. The finishing salt, Fleur de Sel Sea salt from Rè, on top of the Earls Court Chocolate cake had an earthy, mushroom flavor in combination with the chocolate. It’s very interesting, definitely try that.

What a fantastic little cake shop. The atmosphere of this place is extraordinarly feminine and delightful. Cakes and pies sold whole or buy the slice, along with cookies, bars, and macaroons. The cake I had was fantastic, and the coffee was bold and rich. If you have time on your hands, there's a wonderful little area to enjoy your treat along with your coffee. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. If you like sweets, The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn is a great way to give yourself a special treat.

I’ve been to both locations and love them both. The food is always really good and feel like it’s unique. Definitely a fun girls day out to enjoy. Good luck deciding g which dessert you’ll try, they are all so beautiful and the ones I’ve tried have been delicious.

This has been on my bucket list for a long time. It was perfect!! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were able to squeeze us in early, and we have the perfect little table. My husband and I both got the chicken salad on croissant. It's was sooo good. I got the million dollar chocolate cake, and he got the French silk chocolate pie. They were both wonderful!! I can't wait to come back!!

Beautiful restaurant. Impeccable service. Beautiful presentation. The cake was undeniably scrumptious. Macarons were SO delicious. The earl grey tea made me warm to
my bones. I ordered the tomato bisque as well for my lunch and it was the only thing I thought “I’ve had better”. My friend very much enjoyed her lunch order though.
I took home extra cake for the family. Enjoyed our day.

I have wanted to try this place for years, so a peer suggested we visit for a work meeting. She scheduled the reservation and we met up. Parking was limited but I lucked up in obtaining 1 of 2 designated spots. It’s a cute little converted house with a patio. Seating is limited so reservations are a must!
The ambience is so girly and beautiful. I was too busy taking it all in to snap many photos. The food was good, albeit a little pricey… like $20 for pick two (soup & sandwich) & $17 for a slice of cheesecake. Our waiter was wonderful and highly attentive. He packaged my to go desserts beautifully and waited patiently for us to finish. The table next to us had afternoon tea which I cannot wait to bring my girls back to experience. I don’t eat out often but I will be back for another latte and afternoon tea.
I heard the Carmel one is larger with a full bar, but it’s farther than this location for me…

My wife and I purchased 4 cakes from here for our wedding ceremony. These cakes were amazing and the best I have ever tasted. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I think the Millionaire cake was the best. When we went to pick them up we ran late and they worked with us on a later time. The shop was so busy and very quaint. Loved the atmosphere and plan on going back again for future occasions. 6 stars!!

I can't believe it took me so long of living in indy to come here. It was SO DELICIOUS!! The baked fontina took the cake for me (no pun intended). Don't get me wrong, the pie post meal was also a 10/10.. but garlic, Rosemary & melted cheese?? Star of the show. My sandwich was also amazing. Pricey but worth it. Atmosphere and server Rhiannon were great too :)

At first you don't expect to much, but then it becomes the best of the best place for food and cake, it is SO good, it has blown me away how well the food is put together, how the whole place makes its own plates and all with it's name all over the stuff it sells. The cake.......THE CAKE is sooooo good get a slice!
A must go to if you go to Indiana!

This is not just a meal, it's an Experience! The dinner, cake, and cocktails were all to die for. The decor is dreamlike. And the service was cordial and fun. A wonderful experience for special occasions.

Its always fun stopping by this place. It’s small and can feel a bit cramped, but it’s such a lovely place. The desserts are expensive but most are tasty. My husband loves the salted chocolate chips cookies. The macaroons are great, and you can truly taste the flavors, like rose and lavender. I ordered a birthday cake from here and it was delicious. All of my family loves the light and fluffy bitter cream. You’re not just paying for dessert, but also for the experience. I recently went back for an early dinner and we were very satisfied with our food. This was some of the best if not the very best cheesecake I’ve ever had.

This place is heavenly! It feels like you’re walking in the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and the millionaire cake is 100% spot-on! Gwendolyn, you’ve chosen the right path and your pastries is the start of a revolutionary trend! Anyone that wants to have the dream birthday, wedding shower, or ANY occasion you can think of, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Yesterday was the best day to celebrate my daughter’s bday. Everyone was so wonderful even when I was leaving I decided to stop at the front for some to go items. Paige who helped me was so sweet. She even gave my niece a balloon on our way out. My server Madison couldn’t have been more accommodating to my allergies. Absolutely recommend and highly favored, will be back!

Whimsical and magical place! No wonder why it's one of Oprah's favorite places. We were lucky to find a spot at the bar to sit and eat as we were a walk-in. I highly recommend making reservations week's in advance if you're planning a stop here. The mission is to create a magical experience for guests and they certainly do, especially in the small, beautiful details. The decor changes and menu is fresh. When my husband's lemonade came out with glitter on the lemon garnish, I just knew it was the best place to be! Although we are not locals, we have since been back because it's just that great!

This place exceeded my expectations. I came here on a date after a trusted person recommended it. The atmosphere is extremely feminine. It seemed like the factory where girls are made, and all the assembly line workers are unicorns and fairies. Upon first sighting it really gives “Instagram chic”. This was a little off-putting at first, but quickly became part of the charm. You’d expect a place that looks like this to be overpriced and mid-tier food, but that is not at all what you get at Cake Bake. The drinks were a good size, the food portions were excellent, and the prices weren’t at all high for the quality. I had one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had here. The arugula salad accompanying my sandwich could’ve been an entree by itself. Amazing food, great prices, great ambiance. I often give 5 stars to places that are just ok, but this spot truly deserves 5 stars.

The best cake I have every had in the US over the past five years!!! The interior decoration for the Christmas was super nice, and the staff was very helpful! We ordered the signature chocolate cake (Gwendolyn's Famous Earl's Court Chocolate Cake) - highly recommended!! The cake itself was not too sweet and firm, and the ganache layer brought in very beautiful and delicate taste to the cake with strong chocolate flavors. If I have time, I would plan to make reservations in advance and dine in next time!
