Plump's Last Shot

This is a very cool unique bar that I enjoy visiting when I make my way down to "the village". Prefer sitting outside on the patio, people watching and drinking. The jukebox/touch tunes sound great outside. Bartenders provide great service and are friendly. Didn't have an opportunity to try the food yet but it's on the bucket list! 5 ✨'s thus far!

The tenderloin is ducking amazing!!! It is the quality of meat. It is just thick enough to be juicy but thin enough to be for a sandwich. Edward drive in you have been beaten by a real victor. Onion rings were yummy. In the 1 hr we were here 4 couples came with dogs. Very pet friendly. We ate inside. Drinks are kick butt too.

While the venue is historic in a few ways, it is the deep fried pork tenderloin that requires you to eat here. Look at the size of that beauty! But the size is not the best part -- it's the flavor! Seasoned and breaded to perfection, you'll want to eat the entire thing. I did less than a quarter of the sandwich, and was still full when I finished. And if you are lucky, you might bump into legend and owner Bobby Plump himself.

I always have a great time at Plump’s Last Shot. Allison is the best bartender and is so sweet! Bobby does a great job in the kitchen too cooking the yummiest food. They’re a great team there and I will continue to come back to this bar! It has a great atmosphere, as well!

Very lucky to meet with Mr. Plump the first time I went there. Great talk with a previous staff there and learn some good places nearby: art center, Monon trail, etc. Was recommended Hoosier Tenderloin (Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich).

I mean, this bar is the best little known secret in the area. Best prices, knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming atmosphere that doesn’t make me want to run away from all the pretentious bars just down the road. This place is it my folks! With a huge outdoor eating area, outdoor fireplace, and ample room to have a big group, this is the best little bar around. What other place nearby has free parking just across the street or curbside? Don’t forget, they have food too! Try their burger with all the yummy fresh veggies they include. You’ll be surprised when you get your bill and it’s not higher like you would expect. Be sure to tip appropriately so they know we love this place! Keep it up, folks, you’re doing a great job!

Great , the day I went the they had gentleman, by the name of Charles. He was a bartender. Really nice man. They're great people there. It was wonderful outside. This place is a must!!! 🙂

3 meals in one...DAYNNG! That was a pig on a bun! Delicious and sooo JUICY! Perfectly seasoned, and high quality pork! Lovin the hippy vibe as well....blaze on pahtnahs!

Tenderloins were great, asked them to split one and they gave us two huge sandwiches!

Great outdoor low key dog friendly patio. Good selection of domestic and import cans and bottles at a reasonable price. Tried the tenderloin and was pleasantly satisfied by the quality. Remember always time for one more.

Great locals place and glad we stopped by for lunch. The tenderloin sandwich and onion rings were delicious.

Great food! We ordered the giant tenderloin and the burger (delicious). Small selection of beer but all looked good. Patio still allows smoking, which may be why there weren't as many here on a beautiful Saturday -- it wasn't because of the service or the food!

Went here for lunch on my 73rd birthday. My wife and I are tenderloin conneseurs. Have had well over 75 at different restaurants in and around Central Indiana. Plump's is now our number 1!! Huge, perfectly seasoned breading, about 3/8" thick, cooked perfectly, lettuce, tomato and onion 100 percent fresh and crisp, bun toasted and fresh, but no bun could hold this monster of a sandwich. Can't wait to take friends here for lunch. Plus cheapest beer in Broad Ripple.Ambiance is a little sketchy but the food and service is a perfect 10!!!

Absolutely enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly and always on point. The Hoosier Pork Loin sandwich is freaking massive yet it melts in your mouth. With that the tots are seasoned and excellent as a side. I can't recommend Plump's enough and can't wait to go back.

More of a neighborhood gathering hole than sports bar, but a great place with awesome staff and good people. Visited during the National Championship week and had the great fish and chips. Go Dawgs!

Good food. Resonable prices on drinks. They smoke there own meats! Children are welcome for dining! No longer cash only. Staff is friendly and dogs are allowed. Great local bar if you're looking for a quiet place.

There are bars that happen to serve food and then there are restaurants that happen to serve alcohol. Plump’s is the former of the two. You can tell that the lion’s share of their revenue is not from the menu, but truly it should be.

It’s easy to say that, as bar food goes, the food is good here. But that’s unfair. The food is just good with no needed explanation. We ordered a barbecue cheeseburger and the giant pork tenderloin. The burger was cooked as asked. It was fresh, juicy, and delicious. The tenderloin was nothing short of perfect. It is exactly what is a Hoosier thinks about when they hear the word tenderloin. It was fresh, never frozen and the crunch was perfect.

Thank you to Jonathan and his father, Bobby for keeping this icon open for so many years. We will be back.

Great place for a few beers. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of space on the deck.

I brought my kids here, somewhat apprehensively after reading the reviews, but there is a great selection of foods, and the kids easily found something to order. I think they may allow smoking outdoors, but whoever was smoking when we arrived didn't stay long. I would definitely come again!
