Glendoveer Walking Path

Step out of town and into Glendover! This is a wonderfully maintained trail that's open to the public (part of metro parks)! Even though your pup can't join, taking little ones for a stroll through the tall pines and redwoods is pretty relaxing. If youre looking for a watering hole after your walk or jog, Von Ebert's is here to quench you thirsty!

Entrances to the trail on the NE corner of the range on Halsey. One off Gilsan next to the driving range parking and a dedicated lot and entrance at the corner of NE Halsey and 148th.

I use the walking path along the perimeter. Parking is on 148th Halsey. It's a very peaceful environment.

Well maintained and no pets

Haven't been to Glendoveer Park since 1989 & 1990....we used to feed the many rabbits there in the park.
Are the rabbits still there????

Someone playing hide and seek with golf balls that got over the fence from the driving range! Made me smile during my walk!

Would be 5 stars if there was no traffic! Trillium blooming.

This is a nice 2 mile walking/running path. The distance is marked every quarter mile, which is nice for pacing! It is ~90% wood chips and partly paved about a quarter mile is sidewalk/through the golf course parking lot. It is mainly flat except for 2 hills (one in either direction). The majority of walkers/runners stay to the right for ease of passing.
If you go early enough you can see some deer and other wildlife.
Being wood chips is why only 4 stars.

It's A Good Place To Walk...

Nice walking/running trails. Only issue is that someone keeps leaving out huge pile of chips, snickers bars, and peanuts for the animals. I've contacted parks and recreation but nobody knows what to do or how to handle the issue. I hope the person feeding these animals knows that when winter comes these animals will die off because they no longer know how to forage for themselves. That is, if they don't die off from chocolate poisoning first.

If you came to run, make sure you take all your personal belongings because people are parked just watching you if you leave your stuff, they will open your car.
