Papa Fattoush Restaurant

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on our way through town for an early dinner. We ordered the platter with gyro meat and fries. We added a pita bread so my boyfriend could make a sandwich. We had plenty of food for the two of us, and we even took home a to go box of food. They offered a drink station by the door with complementary water and hot tea. Everything was really good and I would definitely come back here to eat when I pass through town again.

Some of the most delicious Mediterranean food we’ve had in a while. Delicious fries and lamb. The spanikopita was smaller than we expected but the customer service and warmth of the owner easily accounted for it. Would recommend stopping by!

Tried here for the first time and we will definitely be back! The employees were super friendly, service was quick, and the food was delicious! I ordered a gyro with the Greek salad and my husband got the chicken shawarma with fries. All of it was amazing tasting! Also good sized portions.

Papa Fattoush is my go to meditarranean halal takeout and dine in for 1.5 years now. Nestled in the heart of Carmel, their spicy gyro salad (grilled meat ) is deh-lish-ush!!! They offer takeout through door dash and have a variety of vegetarian options such as falafel, hummus, baba ganoush and spanakopita. All with your choice of spices. Reasonably priced, with huge portions. Friendly owner and great space to sit outside too in good weather days!

Amazing Halal food... workers are quite biased towards the chicken and gyro so I stayed within their recommendations. Glad I did, Gyro with salad and got a gyro with fries Togo since it was so savory. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in the area. #Bismillah

So good! Came for lunch on a Saturday with my mom and sister, there's 5 tables and some counter seating and didn't have a problem getting a seat. We had grape leaves, hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, gyro, fries and salads. All of it was excellent but especially the baba ganoush! Look forward to coming again.

This place never lets me down. Very comfortable to sit and enjoy a meal. The team behind the counter is always nice. The food is excellent. Get a coffee, put your phone down, and enjoy a nice meal. I love this place.

The food is AMAZING! Honestly I don't think there's a single thing on the menu I wouldn't recommend. Service is also quite quick.

Tried out the spicy gyro platter with rice and the Greek 🥗. Also tried the regular gyro on the kid's meal, to compare the 2,I think I like the standard gyro. They both were good.

Fresh and tasty!! Chicken shawarma was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, pita was soft. Must try.

Had a wonderful experience at Papa Fattoush. Last weekend, I was painting (I'm a plein air oil painter) in front of their restaurant when one of the owners comes out and offers me something to eat... at no charge! She suggested a gyro and I said yes! Let me tell you, it was the best gyro I've ever had, hands down. I'm not kidding. The bread was fresh and fluffy, not hard like some places. And the meat was super tender and delicious, not tough and dry like other places. I bought some baklava for desert and it was outstanding as well. Couldn't recommend this spot more. If you love Mediterranean food, this is the best in Carmel by far!!!

Took myself out and after long enjoyable view of Main Street, a good food and great atmosphere was the the last piece of the puzzle. Love it!

This place is the real deal for authentic Greek food.
I recommend a gyro or gyro salad.

Good food, good people. We tried the chicken shawerma sandwich, spicy gyro, fries, hummus and bread. Food was fresh , fast and tasty.

The people who work here are so nice and truly care about your experience. Not only were they attentive, but they also gave us all a slice of baklava for free! Thank you and keep up the good work!!

This food was FANTASTIC! Friendly workers, big plates and reasonable prices. Food is not salty and very very tasty. The Falafel is some of the best I’ve ever had and the lamb.... oh my god... soooooo gooood

My sister and I shared the mezze plate. All items were delicious and had very fresh ingredients. Probably the best falafel I have ever eaten. We highly recommend this restaurant!

This was the 1st time I've been to this restaurant. The young gentleman working there was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the gyro and fries. This had to be the best gyro I've ever had!! The gyro, sauce, and vegies tasted so fresh and full of flavor!!! I've never had a gyro that tasted so fresh. It wasn't greasy at all. The fries were hot and had a crispy texture/coating on them, which was also very tasty. I wish I lived closer because this is the best place in Indy to get a gyro!! I've been to many gyro places in different states over the years and haven't had a gyro taste this good before. I look forward to returning! 😊
