I received fast service. The food was cooked as I asked and served promptly. My waitress, Kandace, was a vision of happiness with her terrific smile, kept my teapot full, attentive to her duties as a waitress.
The restaurant was clean. Including the bathroom.
Seasonal welcoming committee in the entrance too!

We were craving breakfast for dinner and stumbled across this diner. We're happy we did because this was exactly what we were looking for! They serve breakfast all day, and have all of the classic options. I got the Bissell breakfast which includes pancakes, eggs, meat, hash browns and bread. Everything was tasty, and I especially liked the hash browns which had a unique and flavorful seasoning to them. Our waitress was very friendly and we received our food quickly. They are also very kid friendly as well!

Great place! Food was excellent and plentiful. The place was active but it wasn't too much of a wait. Our server was friendly and attentive. Will come back when we are in the area.

First time visitor at this delicious restaurant. Wow the reviews are true! Service is great! Our server greeted us with a smile and showed us our table, then made suggestions when we told her it was our first time having breakfast there. I ordered chicken wings with waffles and classic egg benedict. Their hot chocolate was tasty and delicious. We truly enjoyed our meal here and I would certainly come back for breakfast!!

Really good place to have breakfast. Our server Amber is awesome and she made sure that everything is taken care of in our table.

Pleasant atmosphere. The server Kandace was fantastic. I didn't even think of a coffee to go until she suggested it. Food was delicious, filling, and at a more than fair price for the amount given. Scrambled eggs with cheese and cinnamon roll pancakes are strongly encouraged by me if you have room for two plates or decide to take a to-go box.

Having lunch with Co workers and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Friendly and efficient. I wanted a cherry coke zero, and our server didn't hesitate to offer grenadine to get my desired results! Thank you

My friends had been recommending I come here. I have some great friends! The food is very fresh and delicious. The chicken and waffles with strawberry butter are the most popular for a good reason. The coffee is ground here and above average.

They serve breakfast all day but have other things. I was tempted by a great looking burger.

Great breakfast for lunch. Biscuits, gravy, eggs and hasbrowns done extra crispy were wonderful and filling. Sarah did a great job taking care of us.

We moved away and don't have a Metro Diner near us anymore. We couldn't help but stop there being in the neighborhood.

I just had massive amounts of fasting blood work and was taking the day off of responsibilities.

It was SO SO GOOD and like being welcomed "home". Santa greeting us was a nice touch!

We ordered breakfast to eat there and dinner to take home. Exceptional food, value, and excellent service. We love them and miss them. Please OPEN one in Whitestown?! Pretty please?!

Visiting from out of town and went for breakfast on New Year’s Day. Kachae gave us excellent service and made some suggestions. We loved the food. Coffee was always topped up. We saw staff supporting customers with special needs to their tables and with their ordering. You can tell that this is a very well run restaurant. We will definitely visit again when we are in Indy.

Kandace, our server was very friendly and prompt in getting us seated. She did an excellent job getting our food and answering our questions about menu items! 5 Stars for sure!! The food was delicious. The shrimp

We had the shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. Both were piping hot, fresh and so damn good! Both meals filled us up, we had some to take home. I recommend both meals if you can’t decide on just one. Our server Amber was the best. Very attentive and helpful when trying to decide between the two.

Metro Diner is a unique take on the breakfast scene in Indy. A classic ambiance with an original, dare I say edgy twist on the meals you get at other shops. You simply have to experience it yourself.

My wife and I decided to try Metro Diner for breakfast on a whim. The food is good. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and light. We’ve become regulars now for Sunday breakfast and Petra has become one of our favorite waitresses. She’s friendly and social which is nice. Every waitress that we’ve had there has been kind and prompt. We’ll continue to be customers there for quite a while

Excellent food and service. The service was speedy with it being a Saturday. The food was delicious. I got the potato soup which is my favorite. I wish they served it every day. Our server kachae was extraordinary. Very attentive and had great recommendations for the rest of my family. Will return again and again and again.

My husband and I brought my parents here for their first time. We ordered the chicken & waffles (AMAZING as per usual), the stuffing waffles, fruity waffle & my husband had a chicken sandwich. Everything came out hot and quick! Our server was kind and knew the menu well.
